I really like the way the capes drape on the figure. That and the helmet are the main keys to nailing this figure.

The maroon underclothes and boots I also really dig. I might have to pose him where a bit are showing. As someone mentioned above, they do look a bit poorly tailored in some pics, but no one will display the guard with the cape up and underclothes completely exposed.

Where oh where do you get them...?

A retail supply store near my house, I’m in ny. The clerk thought I was nuts buying 3 cases for my toys. Total pain to put together, but worth it. My only gripe is the shelves have only 2 adjustable places so options are limited.

I hope the robe stains aren’t an issue in the guard.

For the people that might think it will be too crowded, I took some measurements with the Royal Guards placed in the back corners. The back of the stand is on the edge on the horizontal glass, not the back glass.

You've got about 7.75" clearance from front to back. I also added a measurement in-between the Royal Guards.

We don't know how big the throne will be, but there seems to be quite a bit of room. Yes the Royal Guards will be behind the throne, but I think that will look fine as long as you see most of the Royal Guards

The Throne with Palpatine seated is only 7 inches deep?

I measured my Jazz Inc throne and it's approximately 6.5 inches deep. It should fit fine but my concern is having the two RGs hidden back there.

Just search for retail supply or retail fixture stores near you. You'll specifically want to look for retail wall cases or retail wall display cases (that's how they're referred to in the industry). There is at least one showroom in / around each major city that you can visit. No sure if they're in LA, but in OC there is Orange Pico (https://orangepico.com/economy-case-counters/economy-full-vision-wallcase.html). They're a little on the expensive side and I think you can find better prices closer to LA. A lot of the stores carry the same products, but prices can vary and significantly at times so be sure to price shop before you purchase.

Trophy cases are a great option too, but they usually start at ~ $1,500 depending on the specs and ship crated so expect to pay a lot for delivery. I'd start looking at wall cases to see if they meet your needs before considering a trophy case. A few things you should be aware of is that many of the less expensive 4-sided glass cases don't have adjustable shelves. Most cases have lower weight tolerances so you won't be able to put things made of polystone on the shelves ( they're great for figures). Also living in eathquake country, you'll want to make sure the glass is tempered. Most should be, but you should still check. If you have any other questions send me a PM and I can help.

Luckily I have the original Jabba set, and even if it’s better, I can’t spend $800 to upgrade. That carbonite han on the other hand...

Problem is, for Jabba and carbonite han, even if they get previews from ht, who knows if we ever get them?
