C'mon Hot Toys and get this made! Is it just me who actually prefers Jango's look over Boba?

The more Hot Toys Fett’s get added to my collection, the more disappointed I am at how Sideshow’s QC was abysmal on this figure. He looks great on display, but I can’t mess with him too much since he’s so fragile.

Finally got myself the ex head. I wasn’t sure if I would display him with it, but now that I switched the heads I know. Looks great.
Though reposing and changing the heads just made me want to throw this thing out! Armor pieces, hands and feet falling off, backpack dangling around and a tube breaking off the gauntlet because the rubber tubes are way too stiff for articulation...piece of crap...
But... back on display - once again I love this figure. Great shelf presence.

While swapping the body on my Jango Fett, this small black ring came off. Can anyone tell me where it goes??

I don’t have the figure, but it looks like the loop that goes on the back of the belt.

Being in the mandalorian zone for past few weeks i finally got around to doing a few mods on this guy....first a body swap to a narrow shoulder TT with modified forearms(sanded down for gauntlet's to fit)....i also added extra padding to bulk him out a little more.

My biggest nitpick was the positioning of the armor plates on the vest...especially the top plate...so i moved it up so it now sits a little more accurate..

Still not a fan of the helmet but i'm happier with the overall look:)

Looks great! Can you tell me how the upper armor plate is attached? Is it hard to get off? I need to reposition it on mine.

One of, if not THE best, 1/6th Fett I've seen. Looks like you won't be needing the Hot Toys version.
:duff....i really like the look of the HT proto helmet...so i might pick up loose..

Thanks..there are small pegs holding all the armor plates in place....tricky enough to get off as there's a flat piece of plastic on the inside of the vest holding all of them in place...
I'll post some pics tomorrow to help explain better..

For those interested...

Modified narrow shoulder TT....with the fat suit from TESB boba fett...i added some extra padding around the middle(i used pieces of old fabric cut to fit)

Inside the vest the clear piece of plastic needs to be removed first..before removing the armor plates.
All the plates can't be moved up as then all the original peg holes will be seen...so the trick is to only move the top plate.

New boot fitting for pegs.

Decided to repose this guy off of Matrix's inspiration. Love the look but the figure is made so cheap. The knee guard on mine bent and I'll have to superglue it and the belt holster leather is now really brittle and loose. Argh.
