Mine just came.
Yeah this is TINY.
She's about 1/4 of an inch too short, so close to proper scale. Oddly enough, I compared her to my HT ANH Leia which is taller and bigger than Motoko, but the proportions should be reversed, Leia should be the size of Motoko and Motoko the size of Leia.

The worse part of this figure is how easily it falls apart. The feet are simple ball/socket joints and always fall off. As a result, this doesn't want to stand on it's own and needs support which Threezero doesn't include. The head is the same, I've had to chase after the head rolling along the floor a coupe of times. The hand joints which there are only two of, also fall apart into pieces. They can be put back together but it's unacceptable. The magazines fall out of the pistol and submachine gun, but a small strip of paper placed around the end of the magazine that goes into the gun and then push the mag in will keep them in place, simple fix. The charging handle slides on the rifle, but doesn't open the ejection port, kind of a pointless feature.
The body poses poorly, the costume is a little tight and the joints don't have enough stiffness to fight the resistance of the fabric. The costume and weapons look great, and there's a ton of hands included (still only two wrist joints). The head sculpt and paint look better in person but it lacks life like quality so this looks more like a doll than a person.
Overall, this is a poor release. Best is the costume and accessories, worse is the body and paint (and resistance to allowing customers to cancel their orders).
My first and last Threezero figure. I'll never buy from them again.
I tried my best with pictures, I'm dealing with an injured shoulder.
Leia and Motoko are standing on the same level, the picture doesn't show that Leia is about 1/4 of an inch taller.

My tracking still has "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment, We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece." as the last update from the 22nd of June.

That's the USPS end, if you click on the "Translate: English" box at the lower right corner of the tracking info box on your tracking page on 17track.net, it might tell you a little bit more on their end. Mine said exactly that while it was being flown overseas until it reached the US.

Spoiler'd all the pics for size. Apologies for the bad lighting, the bulb in my dining room burnt out today.

I got my surprise ThreeZero Major shipment today. She's okay. Not as bad as the initial pictures online made her out to be, but not nearly as good as the proto. The paint suffered a huge blow, especially with her eyes/eyebrows.

Spoiler Spoiler:

Her sculpt looks best from the side, IMO.

Spoiler Spoiler:

Her tailoring is one of the figure's strongest points. I have her displayed with a "hybrid" of her two outfits. She's wearing her tank top, and her tactical pants & boots because I love the detail on them and it reminds me of the original anime.

Spoiler Spoiler:

The one thing that bothers me is that her right arm was stained by her gloved hand. The hand pegs & fingers don't match the body's skin tone either.

Spoiler Spoiler:

She can barely stand because her feet are a bit loose too, and there was no stand included.

Overall she's "good". I would recommend her if you liked the movie a lot and find her for cheap. I won't be returning her.

I've seen better sculpts on Black series figures

:exactly:

I also received my Marvel Select Gladiator Hulk figure in the mail yesterday and that had far better sculpt, paint, and was actually much bigger than Motoko for $26 shipped. :lol

I know the cloth is more expensive to make, but it doesn't bode well for customer satisfaction that I'm more impressed, get more enjoyment, and less frustrations out of a $22 figure than a $180 one.

will get her but at 175 or whatever way too much- this will be a sales dud and hope to get one alot cheaper...

Great idea! I think I'll pick up a loose tank somewhere and do the same. I like being able to see her neck plugs too. The tactical gear is very very well made, but it's also... kinda boring. The Major is a cyberpunk icon, she should've come in the thermoptic suit with the long overcoat and scanning goggles, not some outfit you could place into any old military/police setting. Oh well!

I've been offered to return the figure direct to 3Z - I have to pay shipping upfront though. I have the exclusive version, but it has a small scuff on the nose. I know I'm not premium (forgive me Snoopy!) but I wanted to make sure no one wanted an exclusive version before I go through this rigmarole and international shipping, which I do intend to do.

I didn't return mine, but when I emailed them about returning they said they'd cover the shipping. I can try to post the email tonight.

I see nothing. *whistles whimsically*

:wink1:

I have the same email, no worries. They will refund once the item is delivered to them. Hopefully.

Now they are requesting it be sent by registered air, which I know is a China Post thing, but I'm not 100% sure of the USPS equivocal. I'm expecting it'll run me some odd $50 to ship upfront.

Oh okay, gotcha. Just wanted to make sure they weren't trying to scam you or anything. :duff

Sucks about the price to initially ship it though.

Phone picture. Now to measure the body and try to find one that is similar for the second outfit.

Some thoughts:

The outfit is amazing. I'm really impressed with all of the detail in it. The straps around the armor and all of the belts, etc. all actually work and I was able to tighten and loosen components as needed to get the correct pose/look I wanted. The crotch guard was a little odd with my pose but luckily it is removable. The weapons are very detailed and each of them present cool posing options. NOW...the headsculpt. I was actually pleasently surprised with it. I was really worried after seeing all the posts and photos online, but in person I am happy. Some photos made the eyes look like black holes, but that's not the case, at least on mine. The hair also looks better in person and less like a weird plate that was placed on her head as some photos make it out to be. It for sure lost a good bit from proto to production. So much potential!! I am overall happy though and will be keeping the figure.

Now your pic makes her look MUCH better- getting her!

I ordered a spare body, tight fit but got everything on. The ThreeZero hands holes are too large to fit but the body came with an assortment of hands that will work for now. I CANNOT get the boots in the pegs that came with it. The boots peg hole seems to be to small. Boots are just resting on the legs for now unfortunately. Not sure if the boots hole is to small or if the peg is to big. Now to figure out a head for it. I think it looks pretty good. Does it look pretty good??

Here is my custom Thermoptic suit. Thanks to Crys here for hooking me up with the Arc project guy.
