1/6 Hot Toys - BvS: Dawn of Justice - Batman

I preferred Kilmer over Clooney but all those movies got increasingly cartoony after Returns. I didn’t mind Keaton as Batman/Bruce but honestly all I kept seeing was Mr. Mom and it ruined it for me.

I personally didn’t really like either, but I did prefer Kilmer over Clooney. Clooney is by far in my opinion the worst take on both BW and Batman.

Like you said, that particular franchise was pretty much done after BR.

Finally got my Unreal Toys Custom capes.
Cant believe I hesitated for the longest time getting custom capes.

Gonna sound like a broken record reiterating what people have already said.
Unreal Toys capes blows away the stock capes.

Well...hopefully, yours wont take as long as mine. Mine actually took 4 Months to arrive!!! lol

Yep, can't go wrong with these capes !

Love this look. Haven't seen that one before on the BvS. But love how it stays out at the front near his feet. Accentuates the physique too. Awesome Batman !

Thanks. although instinctively, with a wired cape, there's a tendency to do action poses, but I've always wanted to recreate the subtle, cape billowing against wind. Kinda how it looks in most batman comic book covers.

And yes, you're right, it also accentuates the physique.

How hard is it to attach one of the custom capes?

I recently pulled out this guy from storage and felt underwhelmed by him. A large part of that was his lame cape and thought about adding a custom but I've never modded one of my HT figures.

What I would love, is a cape that can actually wrap around him. This figure is sorely missing a Batman that can hide in his cape.

Super easy! the stock cape is mildly glued to the tip of the cowl that's close to the bat symbol. Just slowly pull the cape off and it'll come off easily.

One thing I may add though, Besides the cape mod, I also swapped the ankle pegs with the longer extension ankle pegs.
Makes a world of a difference. The shorter legs actually bugged me more than the cape, that's why it was the first mod I did.
Both mods, super easy.

Did you in part do the longer ankle pegs so that way he’s more in scale with MoS Supes? I have Bats paired stock with BvS Supes and WW and I think the scale is about right. Longer ankle pegs would make him as tall as his armored self.

For suicide squad, I cant find the link, I bought it awhile back. Its actually a mm taller, and the pegs are black. The one I used for SS has pros and cons, I actually like it better, but the boots are looser. I dont mind it though since I dont really pose my figures a lot.

The one from onesixthkit, the one from the link above, I will say though is just perfect, boots work perfect and looks very natural and what most people would prefer.

No, I did it cause I thought his proportions look off. From day 1, the figure bugged me a lot cause I felt like his legs look a little shorter.
adding that few mm made a drastic change in my opinon.

I went for the weathered wired cape. Best all-round cape imo. Weathering is not too heavy, but suits this Batman character. Wired cape can get you the best poses imo.

Did you have to glue the new cape on with some sort of fabric glue or does the new cape just sit easy on its own?

Nah, no glue.
It sits on top the cape well.
