Regradless of who sculpted it, the hair is awful. WAY off model from Imagine era photographs of Lennon. It is funny that someone posted that picture of Peter Sellers because without the glasses and different hair that head would make a nice Clouseau bash.

Well, the original sculpt didn’t look like that at least

Look at the pictures posted by Wor-Gar. The hair sculpt was off model from day one. The glasses are the only thing really selling the likeness. That singing expression barely resembles Lennon at all.

Just read that Oompa Loompa and gob stoppers won’t be included with Wonka but everything else previously mentioned should be.

One of their tactics is to add a bunch of accessories to pad out the figure when it first goes up for preorder. Saw this in a comment they made. So there's not telling what you'll end up with. Not having the Oompa Loompa is one thing but getting the gob stopper was the entire plot of the movie. Dumb

The gobstopper seems like an extremely easy accessory for them to make....not one worth cutting. The Oompa Loompa is really unfortunate though.

Pics look good! I have been waiting to see what the base body looks like. They are still pointing out the endoskeleton on the COA. I eagerly await someone cutting this thing open.

That confirms to me what I’ve always thought...

That there’s a lot of interest from non-1:6 collectors, specifically Lennon fans. I imagine a lot of them have been oblivious to the commentary that’s run through the 1:6 community and they are the ones that have bought this figure and kept Molecule8 afloat.

That there’s a lot of interest from non-1:6 collectors, specifically Lennon fans. I imagine a lot of them have been oblivious to the commentary that’s run through the 1:6 community and they are the ones that have bought this figure and kept Molecule8 afloat.

Seems the collectors market is just a very small share of what they are aiming for. I think they have always wanted more than just collectors.

Indeed, I always thought it was a clever move going for something so far reaching for their first figure, I just never had a gauge on what the market size was. Clearly it’s massive!

Wonka is very similar, a huge classic adored by millions and a huge nostalgia draw.

Don’t think Molecule8 is going anywhere for the time being...
