Loving this figure! Had a couple issues. emailed SS we'll see what happens. My light up saber came apart, would glue it but I'm afraid of damaging the light up feature. Also the two bigger studs on his belt are crooked, it's driving me crazy lolView attachment 415210

I had a belt issue as well and was contacted by SS today. The replacement belts are not in- so had to be put on a waitlist for that part. This is a first for me.

All these QC issues makes me mad. I think Emperor is my last figure and Bespin Han- (someday.) I’m really fed up with the price hike and damage to my last 3 figures. Anyway, rant over.

Night 2 of staring at my Luke’s for hours once the family went to bed. I really love the sculpt in person, pics do not show how good it is. I really hate the fat suit. I will mod it when I have time. I have the cloak on him with the hood down, and not touching any skin, so hopefully no damage will occur.
I need to find a good pose for the Death Star look. The saber arm is awkward to pose. Maybe the fat suit is limiting things.
Overall, it is a great figure. He needs a slim down as he is puffy, and the lack of gloved hands stinks. Now, I really hope we get an Endor version. The fat suit knocks him a bit below anakin and tarkin, but i am really happy with my Luke’s. Not off to pose, repose, and then repose some more. Oh, and I need a new detolf. I smuggled two Luke’s past the wife, but the detolf might be tricky...

My crappy contribution to this thread... filtered. :lol

I know you have a good camera. You announced it in the ANH Leia thread a couple years back now, I believe, with some sweet shots. Congrats on the figure!

Mine just arrived today and while not perfect it does not disappoint. The face was a bit more angular than I expected, but looks great from most angles.

Just opened a couple hours ago. The neck peg immediately fell out so I hot glued it back in but raised his head up a bit so he didn’t look so stubby.

Beautiful figure. Too many looks and poses to choose from so this might be a double purchase doll.

Mine too. I’ll try to use hot glue as well as yours looks about right. How did you raise it?

And great photos. :clap

Ha! What kind of camera do you use?

It’s an old Canon 6D.

Great pics LinktheJedi and Cocoboloboy!

Thank you, kind sir!

Thanks! I squirted the hot glue in the neck and didn’t seat the plug completely when I inserted it. There’s not much room to do it but a 32nd of and inch really makes a difference.

Does anyone know if Luke is actually in stock at Sideshow - regardless of still showing as pre-order? Got Luke Tuesday, but just had to order me a 2nd. I just hope I'm not going to be waiting a month or so for another one.

Thanks for remembering. I do have a nice camera, but it’s easier sometimes to just get out the phone and snap a pic. :lol

Removing the top part of the fat suit makes a huge difference. I kept the shoulders because I was too lazy to take the shirt completely off but removing the mid section makes Luke just about perfect. He probably still has too much junk in the trunk though.

Would wrapping tape around the mid section tightly be a better option for those that may want to keep it original?

This guy is awesome! So much shelf presence and the reason why I think SWs figures are a level above any other line, they simply look a lot more like collectible pieces than they do Toys, which isn’t the case with say Marvel.

Waiting.....Like to give my support to the smaller guys like Timewalker.....and moreso not support SSC and their lazy attitude lately...

Its tough to wait, but look like it will be worth it.

Received my Jedi Luke yesterday. Comparison shot with the ORIGINAL SS Jedi Luke.. The difference is astounding. However, there's more than 10 years, and technology changes since.

What's interesting to me is the heads look almost the same size, yet when the Sideshow came out, even over a decade ago, people disliked the size of it to the body, yet the only proportion difference I see here is HT has proper arm proportions.

Asking with full sincerity and no sarcasm at all...as I'm new to collecting 1/6, why does SSC get so much flack? I have only ordered twice from them (Anakin Ep 3, and two ROTJ Luke's) and it's been painless. The payment plans worked perfectly and I actually got all my figures as soon as they we're US released. No need to detail this into a SSC bashing thread, just curious why there is so much unhappiness with them?

As far as I know, shipping is expensive. I have only bought from them once. They have shipped with shipper box without any exterior box like most retailers. Postal stickers and tapes were all over the shipper box.
