can you mess with the whiskers to move them a bit, i know they are a bit fragile and can get damaged easily but am wondering if there is a way to lower them a bit and not have them all over the place.
Eh not really. The material is flexible so if you give them a little pressure in a direction you might be able to push them all down, but they'd still be spread out for the most part since that's how they're inserted into the sculpt.

Thanks Art, i'll try not to mess with the whiskers too much, its not too bad but still.
Just got this in from eBay. I didn’t expect to pick this up so I just repainted the head of the old Rocket, but this is so much nicer. I like the costume a lot more and the paint job is much nicer this time around.

Nice poses. I still can't justify buying this guy at the current price.
Yeah I don’t blame you. I got the deluxe for the price of the regular and used money I had from selling on eBay so I didn’t mind, but it’s clearly overpriced. The one in the IW Groot set is $125 and I think that’s much more reasonable, with the deluxe coming in at about $165.
Still, I love Rocket so I had to have it. My only minor gripes (besides the price) are that they should have included hands with up and down hinges for the pistols and I would have liked the screaming head to have he ears back, but I guess it’s not inaccurate as is.

OH wow ... glad I never got the first one .. O_O The paint is so much better on the vol. 2 one it's not even funny.Just got this in from eBay. And yeah, he's absolutely overpriced, I still can't believe I paid that much for such a tiny figure. However, I'd rather spend it on a figure like Rocket here, that is loads of fun and always fits my collection than poor Drax who just looks bland ...
Or Falcon who's awesome but whose arms annoyed me to no end and who, due to the wings, was a pain to fit into a detolf and move around or take pics of. I'd pick Rocket over those guys any day tbh. Those faces of his just show so much character and to me that's what makes this a great figure. I don't mind spending that much on him coz he's a star.

For the ones with the deluxe. Would you pay $102 For the regular version or $157 For the deluxe? $55 difference for the huge weapon and extra head sculpt.
I would pay the extra for the deluxe mainly for the extra head sculpt. That's the one I wanted to (and do) display him with.

Just purchased the deluxe for $160 shipped. Had to use my eBay bucks by tonight.

I forgot this was already out. I am having a hard time getting g yhe baby groot :/. The starlord one sitting down is everywhere.

Great photos. I got rocket on discount as well. He's a great little figure. I'm glad to have him to despite telling myself I didn't need him seeing as I have the vol1 version

I’ve never owned the first version, but I do hear that the Vol. 2 was a vast improvement over it. I personally was never a fan of the orange jumpsuit he wore in the first movie. I’m glad it changed.
