Solo will go down as the first Star Wars film to require knowledge of the non-film universe. I know of at least one moviegoer who thought they'd got the timeline wrong when he saw that.

I was unsure at first too - because I couldn't believe a knowledge of TCW would be required to see this film!

I've decided that Solo has the opposite problem to TLJ: While TLJ didn't feel the need to explain *anything*, Solo is weighed down by the need to explain *everything*.

Pretty much everything from Han's back story ever alluded to in the OT (aside from the bounty hunter on Ord Mantell) happens in the space of this one flick!

Maybe Kasdan Snr thought he was the only one who could explain it all?

Eh, Solo isn’t part of the new trilogy so I’m fine

SJW and the intent on pissing off the SW fans faithful will never go away , at least for now so what can you do

Look what’s happen to Star Trek

See now your previous posts advising me to tone it down is making more sense. The most effective thing you can do to induce change is to stop feeding the beast with your money. The first thing you can do is to stop forcing yourself to like something for whatever reason that may be. Im not qualified to go that deep.
