Yeah, that opening scene makes it pretty clear that they aren't going for gritty realism in the violence department. Which is an about face from Gunn's Super.

That... and the movie's boring.

GOTG 1 on the other hand is one of the MCU's top 5.

I’m surprised how much GOTG 1 improved for me.

Regarding 2 I would say Ego’s plan was boring more so than the overall movie. There was still some good in it.

3D visuals in both are mind blowing spectacular which goes along way in making the weaker elements more tolerable.

I’m surprised how much GOTG 1 improved for me.

Regarding 2 I would say Ego’s plan was boring more so than the overall movie. There was still some good in it.

I actually really liked both Guardians flicks.

And Comcast can eat a ****ing ****. I hope Disney comes back with a counter offer and sweetens the pot. Fans want this. Those film franchises could actually be utilized at Disney, instead of left to mummify over in the hands of Comcast.

Even if Fox is bought by Comcast, Di$ney will still get use of those characters back, the license would expire in a sale of Fox.

I hope Comcast gets Fox, Di$ney shouldn't be allowed to own everything.
