So I just got back into collecting hot toys. What's the story behind this figure being 480$ when it hasn't even been released? I thought everyone hated the prequels :/

I don't think there's as much PT hate as people think. Also, the young'uns who grew up with the PT as "their" Star Wars are now older and getting a little cashola in their pockets so this is perfect for them.

It's a great looking figure and I can't wait to get it but that $450+ price is crazy. I see many PT releases in HT's future now, especially due to the interest in Anakin.

I'm hoping for ROTS Yoda and Sidious, and Maul and Qui-Gon.

The slow manner in which *released* figures are coming out is affecting prices because of scarcity. They shouldn't release a figure if they aren't prepared to fill pre-orders.

The Last Jedi hate is the new prequel hate. I hate the prequels less now that there is something new to hate. LOL.

Say what you want about them but they did give us some amazing characters and insight into how the Jedi used to be. Honestly I always loved the look and the esthetic of the prequels, plus the overall story because it leads up to the OT. I just had a problem with some of the delivery of dialog, “acting”, dumb characters like Jar Jar, and pointless subplots.

My favorite parts were all the foreshadowing of what’s to come. Palpatine, Obi Wan, Vader. Then Maul, Jango, Clones, and Dooku. Plus the fact that we get to see Yoda kick some ass was fantastic.

Thats where I ordered mine. I had jumped on the SSC waitlist, but this figure seems so popular and I didn't want to chance it wouldn't convert. I have bought PopC before and they are great!!
