I liked this better than TFA... and I'm 150% certain it will be far more rewatchable many multiple times.

Can't wait for the extra hour of footage and the extended 4 hour epic Part 1 on blu ray this Christmas.


How was 3D? Anyone see this in 3d?

3D was great but then again everything is great at the largest 15/70 laser Imax in North America and 2nd largest in the world and I didn’t pay my sister did lol

I'm still decompressing.

On some levels I'm struggling with some of my own expectations not being met like

That will be a great moment saved for the 2nd film

Dang it I just read one of you mentioning Dr. Strange

telling Stark that there was only one path out of 14 million that lead to victory. I wish I remembered that at the end of the movie because him handing over the Time Stone felt like a really contrived character flaw to give him at the worst possible time which did not really sit well with me. Now I have watch it again with that in mind.

Yeah I think that was me.. I felt like you did at first but when I thought about it more I remembered that important moment.. Changed everything.

I'm kind of in shock about the whole experience and don't even know what to rate it. But I will say that what the Russos/Feige did was pretty damn amazing.

Exactly how I felt... Hard to rate a film that feels like an excellent first half of a story... Praying hard that the Russo's finish it right.

That's excellent. Sarcasm stone is most excellent.

Wait until Dr. Strange takes them to all the alternate universes and alternate outcomes in Part 2... Madness.

I can't see it not happening though.. I think Russo's have something special for Hulk in the next film.. The way they teased him and left him off screen.. Something awesome has to be coming.. I hope.. I was some Russo directed Hulk action!!!

Khev -- where does this sit relative to TLJ? Better, same, not quite as good?

If I were to cherry pick the top three moments from each film TLJ would win but as a full two and a half hour movie right now I'd have to say Infinity War.

Right on. Yeah I caught this at Minnesota Zoo's true 15/70 IMAX and I agree it was just jaw dropping including the 3D. So happy to have such an epic MCU film deliver the goods with the cinematography AND score.

Just went back and read jye and JAWS' lengthy reviews. Great stuff gentlemen.

Hi look at me i’m the JL movie I can’t even get the dynamics right with just 6 heroes and 1 villain on the screen forget 25 heroes and 5 villains!

IW is 4-5 times bigger than JL jesus christ how did the Russos pull this off.

Oh man I can't even imagine how embarrassed WB must be right now.

I'm so damn excited to see Captain Marvel now. A lot of weight is riding on poor Brie's shoulders to turn the tide in a credible manner.

And I absolutely can't freaking believe that

Red Skull gets partial credit for Gamora's death, Thanos getting the Soul Stone, and by extension trillions of people dying.

not witnessing Thanos collect the Power stone. I wanted to see the journey for all of the stones, not him starting off with having one already. Plus, I wanted to see him obliterate Xandar.

Yeah, they also didn't show Thanos getting the reality stone. I do wish he had used other methods besides violence to get the stones. In the comics, he rarely used violence to get them. He pretty much outsmarted all the owners.

That was...ok. I thought the soul stone was inside her somehow, the whole time. So when it turned out that she just knew the location, I was like...oh, well...something interesting better happen.

Definitely, but afraid the rewatch-ability could be seriously harmed by what they do in the next one. But this movie exceeded my expectations, especially Thanos as a villain.

I really like some of the characters who were wiped out but if they simply bring them back to life it cheapens the importance of this film considerably.
