now george lucas gets to feel what it felt like to watch phantom menace

As bad as the PT was each of the films had their redeeming qualities and none of them ruined the franchise. No irreparable damage done. They were just cringy to watch.

Mark Hamill drops an h-bomb on Lucasfilm. Suggests George Lucas himself also hates what they've done to Star Wars.

"It's not just me", Mark said regarding his disapproval of how Luke Skywalker was portrayed in the Last Jedi. "The fans would have wanted Luke's fate to take another direction.*I like being out of my comfort zone, but that was pretty extreme." Later in the interview, Mark adds:

Kaboom.

Didn't you get the memo? No one cares about Mark Hamill's opinion, he's just an actor. An no one cares about Lucas' opinion anymore either. He sold out and ran. Neither of their opinions have any merit at all on whether TLJ was good or bad. Disney is king now, and they have brought nothing but glory and praise to the Star Wars Empire.

Kennedy reigns supreme over SW with her minion Johnson at her side. She is the true genius in the vision that is the Star Wars... All hail Queen Kennedy.

:lol Hopefully Solo turns out well...

Two master swordsmen who can anticipate each other's every move, probing for an opening. What's the problem?

Shakespearean space opera. Timeless dialogue, none of this hip modern wisecracking. What's the problem?

George cares what happens to his characters. Remember the "white slavers" remark? And he put most of the $4b into his education foundation.

Its amazing how we give a guy a pass on selling his "beloved" characters....and then he complains about what they do with the property they bough from him....

If he cared so much....I dunno....don't sell it????

That's not true. Many deals are done with the "hope" things will go well. They seldom do.

Life finds a way. So does Poo.

Well from a car enthusiast standpoint, think of it like owning a classic car for 30+ years. You custom it, put some new updates to it but now because the community won't accept you pimping up a car that was good when it came factory fresh; you sell it because you're disheartened by the critiques. Then you find out the person who bought your car now makes it worse than ever before and totals it.

That's SW in a nutshell.

That’s kinda my point...once you sell something it’s not yours anymore. If you care about it....don’t sell it.

If you sell it, you should be detached enough to not give a crap about what happens after that.

I had a 1970 Charger I sold, buyer ripped it apart to make a race car...

Didn’t bother me , Even though Inout a lot of work into it. I moved on.

Something that might help a lot of SW fans at this point ......might be best if they moved on?

:lol Well one could say that, but how many times people on here have seller remorse with a HT or Custom? A LOT...

So... in essence people sometimes sell in impulse too only to wish they thought about it before they did. George was mad as ****, mad how fans nagged him on PT and still when he wanted to "do" more was belittled by the community. So impulsively he sold it because of his feelings.

But everyone knows how it feels when you had that sweet car in your younger days and wishing you still had it now.

Maybe because your posts are micro-aggresive? :dunno I mean no offence, but you do come off as one of those posters who truly rants.

Mine at least are jests and this is coming from someone who argues about TLJ with Khev and Jye.

Course Snoopy did delete my Rushmore post. Oh man :lol

Don't tell me how I should or shouldn't speak my mind if its not breaking the rules. You're saying that if I find something noteworthy I should arbitrarily keep it to myself. Self censorship. Do you understand this concept?

Nevermind. **** this **** anyways. I don't come here to talk SW. Not worth it.
