I’m gonna give them the benefit of doubt on this one. They seems very confidant & proud of this doll. Being made in collaboration with Garret using screen used molds & same material in the best toy factory according to them. They are saying the final pics is a factory sample & we should get the exact same thing, if mine turned like this it will be worth the 500$ for me.

Yeah I agree. And they said they are using a doll factory so it hopefully will be plastic cast parts.

I don't care about their stretch goals i just want the screen accurate licensed at a very reasonable price of $500 Chucky and the yellow box. In one of the comments they said retailers will be included in that stretch goal and we will be getting that yellow box.

Yea I hope we get the doll. Nobody seems to be making good Chucky merch anymore and mezco sucks imo

strech goals are lame except for the yellow box & the maybe the numbered sticker. Yellow box seems giving, they initially announced it before the kickstarter thing & they r confidence they will reach the 750k, so it seems it will happen either way. Also, if u notice the stretch goals, not all of them have the kickstarter exclusive logo, so I assume some of these goals will be part of the packaging after the campaign as well.

I am going to place my order soon.

The BIGGEST issue I have is people should know EXACLTY what they are getting when they place their pledge/order.

The box is open ended...it currently says it's not included, but it looks like it will be included.

They structured it this way so they will get people to hurry up and buy and help them cover the bill.

Now we are nowhere close to $750K and they're saying in so many words everyone will get what they want.

WHY structure it this way? It's foolosh...it's amateur.

I wrote an email to Justin Mabry regarding the Chucky doll years ago before it was announced. I told him that TOTS can position themselves to branch off into a collectible company with this release and not just a latex mask/prop/costume company. The price of this is VERY GOOD but the long awaited ordering process is not how people who easily pay $500 at a clip for an item want to do business. There needs to be defined terms to the order, terms that do not cause the buyers to experience stress during a purchase or uncertainty in anyway. if terms are defined in such as way that makes it stressful for the customers to get what they want, you need to refine the ordering process. Im not talking about the LTD to 50 signed version, that is fun and I'm all for super limited editions thatncause servers to crash...big part of the fun.

Tney r saying that they have a worthy product that many collectors are interested in & kickstarter is a good platform for them to attract new people & market their brand. I see their point & it seems a common practice nowadays in small to medium companies, I had no idea who T&T is before this chucky.

From their comment sections, it seems their way is to charge you fully for PO items when u order directly from their website, so more or less similar to their kickstarter (anyone can confirm?), only difference here is you might actually get a bit extra (crappy for the most part) if u get it through kickstarter. If you dont want to be part of this u can always get it from retailers.

The total now is almost 300k$, retailers will place their orders this week (I know at least one who will), add to that opening the campaign to UK, Germany & Australia soon, I still dont see it reach to 750k$ but who knows.

Full charge on their website yes! At the point of sale.

If this item was not up for order on Kickstarter, if it was originally solicited on their site, they would have to list everything that is included with your order. At this time it seems like the box is only available through KS. By who knows for that reason I'm ordering (I don't want to miss out...but that's the KICKER if I order based on the current terms, there is no guarantee I will get the box. Do you see how stupid for the consumer this is?!?! believe the doll & box will be available on their site with regular purchase after the KS campaign is over ... and at that point there will be no goofy stretch goals or uncertainty for the buyer. Im not the only one who feels this way. And for that reason it was amateur hour on TOTS behalf.

You should be excited to order, not hesitant because it's very hard to interpret what you're getting.

ultimately, we are only offered/buying the doll right? everything else is extra. I wouldnt be upset if Mecdonalds sneak few extra fries on my meal [emoji4] if u notice, the knife & box dont have the KS exclusive logos, so most probably will be included through their website later. In one of their update there was a talk to include the batteries as add on purchase or stretch goals.

From the beginning they posted multiple times the yellow box would be included. Long before Kickstarter...

Does anyone know what materials were used for the head and the shoes? After seeing their past replica efforts I worry about certain things ending up being foam, etc.

The higher price point and product pics give me hope that it will be more solidly constructed.

I'm guessing plastic head, hands and shoes.

This was one of their comments on their kickstarter facebook post when someone was concerned about not getting the yellow box i have it screen shoted on my phone.

"So go tell your friends and unlock the stretch goals. Also, the Retailer Pledge contributes to the number so don't worry, we'll make it!"
