Hot Toys 1/6 Hoth Leia

Hey All! Long-time follower, first time poster. I just received her today and I can see why some feel like the figure is underwhelming, even though I’m glad to have her in my collection. For me, the tailoring is great (minus the QC issue with ink dots), but the eyes do look too glossed-over. I find that the only shots I can get that I like are when her eyes are in shadow (to take focus away from that grayish glasses-eyed look).

Also, I had minor dotting but risked it by using a bit of Tide to Go and wiped it with water after. Thanks to everyone for keeping me entertained and informed!

Caved and spent a few extra dollars to pick her up in store rather than online after the trauma of Star-Lord. They had three still in boxes and one on shelf and first boxed one had no dots! Yay! Store is Minotaur in Melbourne Australia if any locals interested. $350AU.

About to order this one, fingers crossed no dots!

Was trying to get MMS298 but after seeing these pictures this version has really grown on me. Just can't justify paying 3-400 bucks for the ANH figure when this one exists at retail. Sculpt, outfit and accessories are great! .... plus i'm sure they will do a ANH release at some point because $$$.

LOL, Disney will probably link Winnie the Pooh to the Chewie lineage somehow.

Just got mine in from SSC and no issues with dots; wow she looks amazing! Makes the SSC Hoth Han & Luke look bug eyed. I've seen the tweaks some of you costumizers have made to the Han head, it looks great. I want to try but man is it intimidating. Anyway, Leia is great and sorry to those that had issues with spots.

its a "simple" figure in regards to dislay and accessories, however shes absolutely beautifully done from outfit to sculpt, pics don't do her justice, shell sell out soon i assure you and start to go up probably harer to get in the long run than OT leia, remember she sold out instantly at the announcement of C.Fishers passing, however this figure just looks the part and shows how hottoys continues to get better with time. That's not present in all examples but it is here

It looks great in pictures, so I can only guess what it looks like in hand. Tanks for he advice, I might just get it.

I haven't been to find her for less than $219

Ebay just had a 20% coupon and two days ago a 15% coupon. Not sure when their next one is but that's a good way to get a deal. That, and be very diligent on ebay - set your price and wait.

You really only have to start getting nervous when she sells out at SS and BBTS. Even then, you still might get a chance at a sale at Popcultcha in 6 months after.

I can't go that far with the praise myself, but I agree it's still a figure worth getting if you love her Hoth look.
