I can get several figures for the price of this...It's difficult to pass up but..I can't do it.

I got the Hasbro one today, and has been playing with it all day (and my wife and kid are also having fun with it too!) so, regardless, the Hasbro one is for keeps.
Now the Hot Toys one, when I first saw the pictures, I was like - Cool, will buy this for display, and the Marvel Legends for play (much like I have two Cap Sheilds, and two Iron Man Helmets, one Hasbro, one higher end). I was totally expecting it to be $499.99. The boom! That price hits me like Thanos hits Iron Man in the trailer.
I thought about it all day. I do not expect people to wear this and muck around with a $930 item. But even for display, they could have made the fingers articulated so we can set it up in fist or palm mode, and I would say, have the gems removable, attaching with magnets, so we can snap the gems in like how Thanos do it in the trailer. That would be at least worth the ticket price.

Is it just me or does the "breathing" seem super rough? I was expecting it to be a nice smooth pulsing, but maybe it's just the video? Either way, each of these stones having a battery is almost a deal breaker for me. For a piece this size, I should just be able to walk into my man cave, turn on my lights and have this piece turn on as well...not go through the PITA of turning on each individual stone. That plus the price tag have me at least waiting until this thing is released...I'll probably get the Hasbro one in the meantime.

Not knowing how they behave in the film, I think I would have preferred them to 'breathe' together rather than individually in random patterns. If they were synched up it would simulate some kind of a power circuit running through the gauntlet. As it currently is, it makes the stones look very unstable in the gauntlet - like it hasn't even quite mastered them either. Maybe that plays somewhat into the story?

I thought this gets released around April? is out in Canada?

So you cant close the fingers on this into a fist?

No

For that price that is disappointing. What material is it made of?

In regards to the complaint that the fingers don't articulate, I actually prefer that it doesn't. Given that it's made out of polystone and not some sort of plastic, or made like a real metal Armored glove; if it were to have have any sort of articulation it may open the piece to any number of potential problems. From bad looking seam gapes, to looking unnatural, or just arriving broken; or heaven forbid it breaks at one, if not many of the articulation points sometime in the future.

Imo if they were to give an extra display option, they would have to provide an entire closed fist which would be interchangeable?

Also if this is a true replica of the piece shown off at the Disney con, maybe that piece itself doesn't articulate?

Since the price came out, one of the major 'complaints' about the piece, is that at that price you should be able to wear it, or rather that you can wear the Hasbro one. But come on, would anyone really wear a piece that's way oversized for the normal human and weighs I don't know how much. And that's not saying anything about the risk of damaging a relatively expensive collectable waving it about.

Short answer..yes :lol

Hmmmmm, where is my Money Stone ? Oh! right on my infinity Wallet !!!

So the Taurus one is not officially licensed? People had their order cancelled because they don't ship to the U.S due to licensing issues. Also some asked them on FB if it's officially licensed and their response was "it's custom made".

Guess this is the only high end officially licensed gauntlet for the time being.

I’m pretty sure that one is a commission

HT is known to nail accuracy. So it is massive masterpiece. Again batteries? Well..I would hope to have more details because I would definitely want to wire it and control with my Alexa. I believe since there are light modes and sequencing that at least the battery is unique to all leds to make our life easier.

The ones concerned with price should not, just like the HB, I believe it will hold and build value. And a high quality prop is not supposed to be touched by your wet little hands anyway.

If this thing really shines as some pictures indicate it will be one of the best collectibles a Marvel fan could have. oh my ...this is really growing in me.

I ended up ordering this piece. I can’t get over the sheer mass and detail to it. A 1:1 scale is much better than Hasbro’s, in my opinion. This will be the replica that speaks to the culmination of the entire MCU. I just couldn’t pass this up. It’ll make a nice centerpiece to anyone’s collection.

Lol! Luckily, I only have a couple of figures on preorder at the moment, nothing major. Just HT Spidey and BP. I was due for something major. Haha

In the vid the colors are faded, I really hope they will be able to reproduce the metal shine of these pics:
