Finally got a Gandalf coming my way, bit the bullet as I’ve missed the last few on eBay. The slim Frodo figure is incredibly tempting. Anyone else have any in hand shots of it?

I gave my ToyBiz Bilbo's red book to Frodo. Just a nice little accessory to have around.

Love those bases Coco. Would be a great way to tie the fellowship together visually.
I saw on your stand thread you are considering a full detolf shelf size plate, would that be textured like these are?

Yeah these stands look fantastic. I’d love to see or have an entire Fellowship displayed on bases themed like that. It fits the theme of the movie very well in my opinion.

Thanks, guys! I'm really looking forward to making a Detolf plate in that style. I think it'd look really nice with a few of the Fellowship on it.

It'd be so cool to do a two-part plate that covers two Detolf cubes so you could do the whole Fellowship in side-by-side Detolfs. You could even mimic the landscape from the hero shot with the two big rocks from FOTR.

How long ago was Frodo released?

BBTS still has him for preorder. How long on average does it take for Asmus figures to reach US distributors like Sideshow and BBTS?

I'm not concerned; I already have mine.
I have mine ordered through BBTS. And I have the expansion heads ordered from Asmus. So when it's all said and done I'll have two Frodos for two different displays. I was only asking about SS not having it up for order if they might not be offering them after Boromir? Doesn't appear they have Frodo or Sam for order and Boromir is still preorder which BBTS gots theirs in awhile ago now. Just odd.

I don't think any of the hobbits came with stands. They all stand fairly well, but with no ankle articulation they normally are in fairly static poses.
