Received my Slim Frodo today. Very happy with him.

I went to view a YouTube unboxing video, for the Frodo and Sam set, and noticed that a couple of Frodo spare hands have a ring already placed on them. However mine did not, just the one on the chain. So... did the Slim version of Frodo not get the extra rings? Or is it just me?

I just wanted the option to put the ring on his finger. I don't think the ring that is on the chain is removable.

A very nice little figure.

Just got my Frodo and i have to agree, this is one of the best. The hair is really rough, but that face can't be more spot-on.

A few crappy phone pics :

I didn't have a problem with the hair on mine after seeing it in hand. It's an incredible sculpt all around.

And why would anyone want a Frodo with the ring on his finger? You wouldn't be able to see him on display like that.

:lol

Just looks like there's too much thick paint on the hair. I bet, if you were more ambitious than me, you could probably thin that out a little and reveal some of the hidden detail of the hair sculpt.

Nice! This picture might just sold this for me. Now to find someone that still sells it for a decent price.
I noticed that they are out of stock on Asmus's website. Is the batch mentioned for March/April the one that is sold out or are they making more figures?

How many of rings do you need of The One Ring?

I suppose the number of rings you need depends on whether you're an Elven King Under the Sky, a Dwarf Lord in your Hall of Stone or a Mortal Man Doomed to Die.

Yeah, if you want Frodo with the ring on just take the figure off the shelf. [emoji38]

I'm so glad my question was used as a set up for some clever, humor-based responses... however I still would like it honestly answered.

Did anyone who received their Slim Version of Frodo get any loose rings attached to the extra hands like the people who received the two Frodo and Sam two pack get?

What Frodo and Sam two-pack? You mean the old original one?

If its called a "slim", then surely it includes only one ring. Did you read the stats of what's included with the Slim on the website? Do you see any pictures of extra rings in any of the production pictures?

The internet has reprogramed me to read this like an angry person... Ease back brother;)

Going to Asmus's product page for the SLIM version of Frodo was the first place I went to look for answers... but what I found wasn't helpful.

The features for the figure was listed as such:

Features :

• An authentic likeness of Frodo from the film.

• One pair of relaxing posture hand

• One pair of weapon holding hand

• One open palm hand

. One ring holding hand

. One ring wearing hand

I wondered if the last two hands were supposed to include the loose rings.

And to confuse things even more the product pictures included this photo:

Clearly the Frodo in this picture is the original head. But he is holding a loose ring that I did not get.

Thanks for the pics everyone. I missed the postal delivery today so I’ll collect Frodo tomorrow. Looking forward to putting him with Sam. Then it’s just Slim Gandalf and I’ll call my LOTR collection done....for now.
