I got notice last Friday from Timewalker to pay for my Venkman single that was on waitlist and due in the second shipment.
Meaning the 2nd shipment is coming soon but the singles are already waitlisted/sold out?
So the 2nd shipment appears to just be the fulfillment of the original orders. In other words, no new stock.

Sounds like it. I doubt they are just extras being made to satisfy demand, but they should be (if BW wants to milk a good thing).
Amazing. Boy was I wrong about having a bunch left over. Blitzway really did their homework on the demand and nailed the supply. HT should take notes.

Meaning my waitlist order was converted into an order from the stock in that second shipment. My Venkmen should be from that second shipment, or Timewalker had someone cancel and my figure is actually from that first shipment. I need to call them anyways, maybe tomorrow or Tuesday depending on how I'm feeling and I'll ask then.

I was under the impression the second shipment had been and gone. The first shipping was end of the summer, then the second shipping late November/Early December. Could be wrong, probably are lol

Well, I waited till now to open up Egon. Sadly his pack has a bit of a short. Won't turn on with smashing the battery compartment really hard. I've contacted timewalker to see what can be done.
Many people have had luck lifting the contact tab up a bit.
If they are not doing a second run....this set will be worth huge money down the line....
I don’t collect for profit, but it is nice to have a figure who’s worth escalates...

Mostly simply because you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that you got it before it was worth astronomical prices.
Really glad I snared the last Winston PO from BBTS in October while it was still at retail.
I have very mixed feelings about the current availability of these figures. I have the 3-pack and love them, and was able to get the Ghostbusters sign and an extra ghost trap from TA, so I'm all set. They make a beautiful display in a detolf with Slimer and all fit on one shelf perfectly. And it's really cool having some figures that, at this point, look like they will be truly collectible!
I love my one shelf set-up and I don't think Winston looks good, pretty much at all. But I do wish there could be the opportunity to pick up a Winston later on at a reasonable price if I change my mind, like you can with most Hot Toys figures these days. It's certainly not looking too likely at this point. I look online and he's in stock on some websites for $300-400, and yet I could have picked him up at retail just last week at my local comic shop but still couldn't pull the trigger even at $225. So, I dunno. It seems like they severely underproduced for the demand if there are, in fact, no more big upcoming batches hitting retailers. You can still find the Fight Club figures online for retail, so it seems a little strange. Like Wor-Gar was saying, it really does seem like the singles never really showed up in stock to any extent past the pre-orders.
