Yeah obviously not every collector is going to be as nitpicky as us in here, and maybe our expectations can be a bit unrealistic... but it's only because we want these figures to look as good as they possibly can. And because the bar has been raised quite a lot in the last few years.

It's just too bad these companies don't seem to realize that, and get so defensive at the slightest bit of criticism.

Despite some issues, it should be mentioned that Bond's suit is impressively accurate, right down to the correct number of buttons on the sleeves and mesh tie and gold cufflinks. BCS even got the jacket's side vents correct -- an element that even Yunsil got wrong on her suit.

I really appreciate the exactness of the details like that -- having built my own, I know every little detail and take note.

It is odd how they get so defensive. Any company should really welcome constructive criticism and listen to their customers. I do think these look good though, especially Bond.

Ok guys just some real quick out of the box pics. The box in case you are interested is one of the best I've got. Really is beautiful
I think the sculpt is very nice in person, maybe a more neutral expression would of been better though, it probably is a bit oversized too. The suit is maybe a little small and it does not sit well on the shoulders but maybe this can be futzed? The accessories are nice and a good amount of them. The stand is a nice touch too.

Overall its a nice fig but just missing the wow factor somewhere.

Someone mentioned replacing the snaps with some of that micro-velco we see sometimes on figs. Anyone have a source on that stuff?

I think the large buttons/fasteners make the vest look to puffy maybe removing them and using Velcro or something will work

LOL! Maybe Raymond will have an answer on where to get that stuff since we both have the same thought.

Huh. Really? Like the stuff even HT use? I'll have to check out Michaels next time I'm up there. Thanks!

Nobody does eyes like HT- yes the eyes are just not that good- painted and not at all life-like like HT's. The head IS oversized next to those HT figures with proportional bodies compared to Bond.
I'm nitpicking of course but for $200 figures in today's arena just nowhere near HT quality- nor was I expecting it to be.

$5,000 suit but didn’t Connery have custom made suits ?

Ib some way I can trie to understand, if self employed artist is offering and don't want to change wrong sized sculpt(also redicilous and wrong, but maybe can understand), but ,if commercial company is sending out to customers wrong proportions expensive enough figure-with oversized head-it makes me MAD!!!
