I'm very curious to see the pics that come with the PO. I wonder if they will go with the non-lean from NYCC or the extra rock base from the live. Thing is too, SSC is not like HT where they send out final product images when it close to release. The only pics you get are the ones on the site, so the PO pictures I would have to imagine is exactly what we're buying.

agree. If the PO goes up with this lean there's no way I could order it and risk the final product piece looking like this.

Yup, I’m not ordering it if it’s leaning like that.

Again. Very frustrating. That thing was good as is. At both conventions. I was sold. Now not so much. Between mags and now this i will be saving a lot of cash 2018.

Exactly! It was already great as is. I was sold too.

Guess I'll just have to wait until production pics come out to make my decision. As other have stated when I saw this at sdcc it looked amazing the way it was. Not sure what kind of though went into adding a lean to him.

I've never seen SS use PO pics from a comicon, they usually use professional studio photos of the prototype. But there's no way they can "hide" this lean without addressing the base.

When will people learn.

The prototype Sideshow shows you at conventions is not what you will receive when you order!

I wait now till I see in hand pics of anything SS before I order. Ive been burned too many times by SS pulling the ol bait and switch.

Why the hell did the base need more rocks? What was the point?

If I hadn't seen it as originally done, I probably wouldn't have minded the lean. If you consider this statue as a snapshot of an action sequence, the body can be in all sorts of stances that aren't quite stable when just standing still. That's what I would have told myself. Now all I can tell myself is they screwed this up big time.

Someone of the FB group said they contacted Sideshow on the live chat and mentioned the rocks and leaning issue.
Sideshow replied saying they are keeping the statue as it was shown during the SS live episode.
This is why people prefer XM, they listen and alter their products if there are issues.
Sideshow knows Wolverine is popular and will still sell regardless.

I will never understand this decision. Anyways. Lets see the PO studio pics and ill decide. If this is 650+ with a "might be leaning future" then forget it

Sigh! May be saving myself some money then. With this and the fail with Magneto, my days of buying X-Men from Sideshow may be numbered.

They fixed the modern Thor pf leaning problem so they should fix this.

There's a difference though. The Modern Thor lean problem was a balancing defect, not a feature. This lean is built into the statue.

Unless the feet just aren't in the base all the way. Oddly enough, they wouldn't let Susan put the masked head on the statue. People off camera specifically told her not to when she was about to. So perhaps this version we saw in the SS Live wasn't the final engineered product.

If enough of us speak out about it they will fix it. There must be some explanation...like the hand just needs to be angled to sit flush into the rock base or the foot pegs weren't fully pushed into the base.
I just don't see how a team of artists who are meant to have attention to detail can let this slide.

I might get a third party piece now
