I’m satified with my ANH Vader with the R1 gloves.

It looks good but I only need one Vader in my collection.

Besides widows peak I cant really see much to nitpick on this. It just looks like esb Vader.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this doesn’t end up having a full reveal portrait. After all, we didn’t see the details of the front of the Vader mask in ESB or the seams were it’s taken apart as it is in ROTJ...both are shown in these prototype pics.

I think the same... HT will come in a year with a Vader from ROTJ with a full Anakin Headsculpt...

Why would they do Anakin headsculpt when there is none in the movie? I really really hope they will not do that.

It was ￥29,000 here so if I had to guess, I would say it will come in around $250-270

HT is figuring out what the fans want finally. Who’d spend their money on FO stiff troopers in every array, Lobster men, and Finn when you can get this?
Soon we will have Bespin Han, Lando, Fett, OT droids and we will have PEACE.

He looks 99% there. Just need to get rid of the widows peak, the silver dot/button next to the buckle, and tone down the pleats. All of this can be done with some futzing.

There are more photos on the https://www.hottoys.com.hk website and it seems that hey used the SS Deluxe Bespin Luke for those shots. I don't think that's a new HS.

THIS IS THE Vader I've been waiting for since I started collecting 1:6 almost ten years ago! It's like HT dug into my brain and pulled out exactly what I've been wanting all these years base and all!!

Wish they just made it a Deluxe with a full unmasked head instead of making us triple dip.

Got ANH Vader and will definetly need this. The question is when the ROTJ Vader comes will it be worth buying since there are no differences between ESB and ROTJ aside from the unmasked head I would never use and a Death Star II base. Being an OT completist sucks.

You never see him fully unmasked in ESB so this is accurate.

No one HAS to triple dip.

The figure looks very cool, but I'm not a fan of the inner robe stitching and pleats. BTW this could be the start for ESB Stormies

I can live with the widows peak and pleats. Sloppy if left as shown but it won't be an eyesore. Essentially looks like r1 dome and mask with esb paintjob, not counting the new work for the head reveal.

Unleash the ESB!

Can't wait to have this Vader, love the stand, would also have loved the full reveal helmet, but I'll be patient, I know its coming eventually.
