I actually thought about doing what xipotec did the other day after Spook was confirmed to be over, but thought better of it because of the usual pansies that now frequent this place. It amazes me how seriously people take coupon codes.

A lot of people don't seem to understand your point and why useless banter takes away from the value of that thread - joke or not. Now someone tell me if there will more codes between now and Tuesday so I know whether or not to sit here and continue hitting refresh every 5 minutes for the next two days!

Anyway, the No Banter worked out to be Goldilocks' porridge for me in the end. Precise enough to still keep track of codes, but I think it's a little unrealistic to get too bent up about repeat codes and posting that the code had timed out etc.. That's just never going to happen unless it's moderated, which isn't going to happen here.

Problem is you end up with two extremes of thread. As entertaining as this thread gets, it kind of does become a little unrealistic to use it for the intent that it was originally intended by the TC, does it not?

Curious but how popular is Halloween and things such as Aprils fool in other countries outside of the USA anyway? All I know is that on the 1st of April that I just have to avoid North American websites for a day, but others are usually fine. And I didn't even realise that Halloween had reached Australia until they talked about kids dressing up only a few years back.
