It wasn't "obvious" at all. Everyone knows in the post-NYCC era, codes can come any day at any time. We already got one Spook code after it was supposedly "over." And I bet we will get more before November starts. A code in the codes-only thread means a bunch of people get an e-mail alert, drop what they're doing and rush to Sideshow to enter the code. On Statue Forum, ANYONE who posts anything that isn't a code in their codes-only thread gets a two-week ban. This guy was a COMPLETE a-hole who posted the biggest troll post this forum may have ever seen that did the most damage, harassed the most people and wasted the most time. There should be ZERO tolerance for something so hateful, selfish and antisocial. If you let this crap go by with no punishment, it will continue and repeat itself.

Well he did have a point.
But at the same time it was sort of obvious given the word choice of the 'code'.
Unfortunately there were a few people who posted unnecessary posts to the non banter thread, but usually by those who didn't know the 'rules' of that thread. However that was not the case this time. It was obviously done as a joke/trick and it was again 'obvious' it would get a negative reaction from someone, otherwise why make such a post in that particular thread. It should've been done in this thread and that would've been fine and the norm.
Guess it's time I switch off my notifications to that thread, and alter my sound settings on my phone.

Depending on what Timezone someone is in, it could very well have been an inconvenience. But in the end no big deal.
And I know using the term 'snowflake' is sort of the in thing in America, for those who lean in a particular way, but was it totally necessary?

Yeah maybe but this crusade this guy is on is over the top, sending threatening email, cursing at someone, posting in forums....etc etc.....
All over a discount code for a toy????

Isn't the point of troll posting banter in the no-banter thread to piss off as many people as possible? No one should be surprised someone overreacted.
