Fantastic!! Arm and hand posing fit each character perfectly. Love in particular Kirk getting ready to "thumb" open his communicator.

Thanks for noticing that. I didn't want to display them with the typical Kirk with phaser drawn pose. Just tried to get them in a natural looking pose that fit their characters.

That's some nice posing right there. :rock

I wanted to go with something similar but just couldn't get over visible wrist pegs. :monkey2
And that's comin' from someone who usually doesn't mind visible articulation on his figures...

It looks like that is a finishing touch that pegs in....I took it as rest of chair is in production and they are just deciding on what finish to go with for arms....looks like they could make decision....get the arms cranked out and do the assemble when ready to ship...I think EOY still reasonable.

Why solicit so early though? It's not QMX' s way of doing things..... was it perhaps a reaction to the Picard negativity? Get another product solicited and paid for before confidence drops too low?

It's hard for me, I was able to pay for this as it was (apparently) imminent. I'm on a very low income, and I can't afford to have over a hundred pounds tied up like this for too long.

I'm guessing it was. We've also been promised a couple more figures before the year ends but i'm beginning to doubt that will happen. I'm okay with that though because I want them to be good. If QMX really doesn't like to solicit preorders until everything is almost done, I don't mind waiting till beginning of 2018 to see some new stuff up for preorder. Besides, for me, my funds are mostly tied up on other figures I'm paying on and I won't be freed up from most of them till Christmas or New Year time. Once I'm down to only owing on one or two figures(instead of the 5 i'm paying on now and 7 total I have on preorder lol) I can afford to really order more stuff. As is, I've got payments from now till like February(which pays up my Hoth Leia). Jedi Luke don't start till like April so I can start paying on several more figures around late Winter/early spring.

I'm a little late to this line so wasn't there at the start...have they been pretty good about getting stuff out in time? Also what was wrong with Picard...I know the neck dye was an issue which happens to Hot Toys too. I thought Picard looked amazing head sculpt and uniform wise. So far I have Kirk and McCoy and getting ready to buy Spock next. I do want the chair as well but after that think I'm holding off for TWOK figures to hit. The stuff ready to hit at end of the year for other lines is making it hard to keep up.

Your wish list is right there with mine...

Hoth Leia
Jedi Luke (must have Dream figure)

I'm looking to get

Road Worn Thor
Blitzway Ghostbusters
BTTF Doc Brown

All that hits end of the year (expensive quarter)...then next year...

GOTG Star Lord

I'm torn between my desire to complete the whole crew before the 60th anniversary, my understanding that spending my mortgage fund on toys is a bad idea, since I need a house in which to display them, and my understanding that Qmx will hurt sales and the longevity of the line if they saturate the market too soon.

In the last year we had 4 figures (3 TOS and 1 TNG) but I would assume that ratio will shift this year. So we might get Khan and Scotty plus two out of Data/Geordi/Worf and possibly a figure from DS9 or Voyager.

I was hoping to complete the TOS crew before I'm 50 (3 years) but that might be optimistic...

I would like the whole original crew too but think I will stop with big three (Kirk, Spock, and McCoy) I will get all the TWOK figures...I love that movie.

And somehow they are supposed to release others like Firefly and Supernatural. Great stuff. In fact its all im buying

From what Nanjin is saying this is still in pre-production, as he's currently deciding on parts and not ruling out further improvements.

We're looking at next year then. There's no way this can be finished, produced and then shipped from the far east to retailers by the end of the year.

I actually feel quite misled by this and I'm a little bit angry. This was obviously nowhere near production when it was solicited. This is really not helping QMX' s customer confidence.

When it comes to Qmx Star Trek figures, I have found that until it's available for order on THEIR website, it's still in production. Once their site allows pre-orders, the item will likely ship/arrive stateside within around two months.

Since the chair is still listed as "coming soon" instead of available for pre-order, I'm not worrying about any delays.

If it helps, when asked Nanjin mentioned Original Khan and Geordi Laforge as being next in that order. Not sure if he means before or after the chair, given the issues it seems to be having.

We solicited the chair a bit early to gauge interest since it was a different type of collectible. Notice QMx didn't take any money for it yet.

It is in production - Nanjin is making adjustments as parts are produced, but many fans will have their chairs this year. Since there was a lot of interest there will be a split shipment, so some people won't get them until next year.

...and a little surprised no one has picked up on the tease dropped yesterday...
