Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I guess it's nice to have another option and they've kept the price low. I feel like the eyes in the first photo give it a cheap feel, they lack the "real" look of a higher end head sculpt, but again for the price you're paying... I like how the sculpt looks in the last two photos. I can see Arnold there. I think I might pick one of these up

Disappointing head sculpt. I'm sure Fabio could have done better, but Arnie's lawyers must be real bastards. I'm guessing Fabio made the sculpt just slightly off so he wouldn't have to go through what ModernLife did.

I have three ordered, and can't wait to get them. It really looks pretty good to me, and I imagine in-hand it will look better than the pics (which I appreciate you guys posting). Since the hair's removable, I might wig one of them.

Sorry, yes I have.

Well, I kinda like them. They're not dead on, but I think we all have a more recent face of Arnie as a reference and tend to forget how he looked younger. The main issue I see is the nose, but the overall quality is good. The skintone is perfect for their XXL body (latest version) and the hair swap easy. The detailing in the hair is nowhere as good as HT, but I'm satisfied with the result.

I still have to assemble the figure though...

I got two heads a few days ago. I would say I'm generally satisfied with them. When you get these blown up pictures, you can nitpick about too many things. I'm not going nose to nose with my figures. From a few feet away, the sculpt is pretty nice. I'll definitely upgrade if something better comes along though. I'm glad these were very reasonably priced.

Thank you for your thoughts. That's a good point about distance. It would be great to see a head sculpt on a body at a reasonable distance.

Here's the new updated KP Conan head sculpt I received today. A bit smaller than the original head. I had to swap the socket plugs from inside the heads (bit of a pain) to get the new head to attach to the old neck post. I still hope to customize a Hot Toys Arnold head at some point, but this is definitely an improvement.

Well, after seeing all the pics, I'm a bit bummed.
It's not really KP's fault, they can't do a perfect Ah-nuld likeness, but it doesn't change the fact that it's not the sculpt we need to make the ultimate Barbarian figure.
I guess I'll just have to look at customisers' work now.

I dont mind the face being a non likeness, but seriously the head is poor standard, the face is too small, the hair too high, skin tone doesnt match their own body. I know my bashing this head is repetitive, but until enough folks show support for onesixthkit to grant our wishes, nothing is likely appear, heck id even have a black haired comic version if it were quality

What kind of support to onesixthkit are you talking about? Support in general or do they want to do a Conan head? Wish Chronicle would give us a clue as to whether Conan is in their 1/6 figure plans.

Sorry being vague there [emoji849] If enough collectors request a certain head or accessory then Kit will pay attention as his website encourages requests and ideas. Its a shot in the dark, but worth a try

Ah gotcha. I have been secretly hoping they were the ones who purchased the Modern Life sculpt and were going to produce it themselves.

That would be cool if they did pursue the ML head. Id be happy with a nice looking sculpt, fine rooted hair and seperate headband, it all doable really.
