New sculpt looks much better, I'm honestly surprised they didn't save it for the WW solo version figure or the JL figure.

I wonder how soon we'll get the WW solo figure. I could actually see them doing her gold Amazonian training outfit now.

The WW solo will be vastly better IMO. This version was a beginning run concept that got delayed way too long so they didn't want to change it completely

I imagine WW solo will be a deluxe format style with an extra HS and better articulation including other bells and whistles

The proof is there, compare the Mattel MU WW from BVS to the WW solo film figures out in stores . If mass production pieces changed that much I have no doubt that HT will try to be the superior brand in capturing all over colectible likeness. :lecture

The big question will be how long will it take for a WW solo version

Lmao, I remember you in the Deadpool wrist fiasco...

Irony with having faith...

I said have faith SOMETIMES. Also, I kept my pre-oreder and bought Deadpool, thank you very much. lol

Relying on weisun to get us some good pics to put our minds at ease. Just noticed ripley, harley and WW pushed to june. So this will probably be 2nd week of june

Wow, please text surprise, like BvS Batman. Glad I didn't cancel my order. I figured the delay was that they were reworking the HS. Looks good too me!

Who was being negative?

Go back a few pages and there were a few...probably more to come as well. I was speaking more generally anyway, not exclusively about this figure.

The headsculpt looks a lot better, I'm not happy with the proportions though.

I sure wasn't but many were, I was just disturbed about the delay more than anything. It's HT after all, there have been hits and misses but overall I always put HT up in the masters of capturing supreme accuracy and overall likenesses to the actual source in 12" figures.

I never lost hope overall in this particular BVS version..I was just getting impatient

The headsculpt is way better. The facial expression is much better as well. The cheekbones and jaw line look more like Gal than the proto. Glad to know I will soon receive the first Hot Toy I ever bought. I have BvS Superman and BvS armored Batman in my display case (both bought and received AFTER i ordered WW).

This has been a long time coming.

Now it looks like Gal! Very nice new sculpt, but ill still wait for the solo movie version.

If this is the Wonder Woman they use for the solo figure, I'll be very happy.

OSR still says bones IM and Ripley for May, then Harley and WW to start June. I wonder if the flooding affected the schedule?

wow. I am impressed by the new sculpt. there's more definition in Gal's face - as others have pointed out, something was tweaked with her cheekbones and around the eyes.... the new sculpt has more of a focused/pouty look that Gal projects versus the blank stare of the original prototype.

I was content in "settling" for the way the figure looked before, but now I am so pleased the headsculpt is so much more accurate. I'm OK with the presumably limited articulation (because I usually keep my figures in a boring museum pose) but I empathize with those that prefer dynamic poses.

here's hoping an Amazonian WW gets made.

I'm not really sure the sculpt is any different... the face still looks way too elongated.
Still, it does look somewhat better in these pics, hopefully we get to see more soon.

I think this figure has tested the patience of all of us. :lol

Still if we get a better figure at the end, as looks to be the case, the wait will have been worth it. :hi5:

Happy to wait now I know they've made changes to the sculpt, at this point it's a absolute treat seeing a new photo [emoji23]

The long delay benefited me in the financial department though. There was a period this year where I got bamboozled with orders all at once which took a huge chunk out of my savings.

But all is returning to normal o now I have sufficient funds for WW. So in a way it was a delay that benefited :yess:

The articulation is a fear I'm dreading the most. Those shoulders look stiff as a statue with no movement :panic:

How can they make a WW figure that can't even lift or raise her arms. Please say it isn't so HT :monkey4

So much better.

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sculpt tweaked no doubt- the eyes look different plus paint aps stronger... the upper body looks great as well

I agree - a vast improvement! :clap I checked the thread early this morning & figured we had another week of waiting. Glad I came back - puts me in a great mood for the holiday weekend!
