Hi Guys

Is there anyway to tell if you have a batch 2 of this figure from the box without breaking the seal ?
If not where can you get the longer wrist pegs to prevent the sleeve cuff damage ?
Cheers

I'm tempted to sell mine off - Deadpool is one of my favourite figures and I had been waiting for a film for years, and they pulled him off perfectly with a great outfit. I think the Hot Toys of him is good, but I just can't get over how much better the prototype was - I'm just hesitant with his costume maybe changing in the second film, hopefully with the release of the short it's an indicator that it won't change, though.

But I want one with the suit filled out with the body and better proportions - his torso is supposed to be quite long but this one isn't, and compared to the DC line of Hot Toys and some other Marvel one's he just seems too skinny.

That's exactly how I felt and is why I cancelled him. The prototype was perfect and was what initially made me want to start buying hot toys figures so hopefully the second figure looks like this.

...I'm thinking of going to Hong Kong to steal this prototype from Hot toys.:chase

Looks exactly like the one sitting two feet away from me... I think you boys missed out.

Yeah, i agree. Looks exactly like what i have on my shelf :dunno

Here's the final figure and the prototype, as you can see the prototype had a wider chest and a different material for the suit with weathering for the pouches. :lecture

I guess it comes down to preference, but there was a huge difference, as can be seen above.

I prefer the thicker frame of the prototype and the material - it's mostly the chest, waist and the thigh/crotch area where I think the biggest differences are, in a negative way.

Just got my Deadpool delivered here in the UK and it's the second batch with the fixed wrist pegs.
Really happy and it's a stunning figure , can't believe I passed on this guy when it was released because it really is a beauty.

Did you make that table? I'm not big into collecting Iron Man but that is gorgeous!
Oh I wish haha! No, that's beyond my capabilities with the tools I have, unfortunately. I actually got it to go with my Nick Fury, who's yet to be unboxed. It was the best thing next to the company's now discontinued helicarrier command center which is similar. This is made by a company called Toys Box; it retailed for about $50 plus shipping. In the end it was $70 something to import from KGHobby which was the cheapest I could find it. It's called the Stark Desk or Crystal Workshop Test Desk 2.0. The latter is what's actually on the box. It comes with a 4 foot cable with inline power toggle. I wish I would have a battery adapter but this'll still do.
