Thanks!

It's a WIP. I have more stuff coming to make him more detailed, better proportioned. I've been planning this project for a long time now.

The only parts am still looking for are the SSC, Darth Malgus, cloak, and the HT, Rogue One, Vader, shin armor.

I'd thought about using some Did boots but the feet look too small once the shins are added and it spoils the overall look and proportions. Thank you for suggesting those, I appreciate someone looking out for me.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with your bin of parts !

I hope that you all continue to put together some great figures. I've decided that it's time for me to walk away from it all . To those who have helped me , Thank you

Yeah, good luck. After we exchanged PM's I was hoping that things come together for you. Looks like you've been a member here since the very start, so always very sad to see such long time members forced to walk away due to life's circumstances. Hope you find a way forward, and never forget that motto - greatness from small beginnings.:hi5:

Hey guys, just a quick update on my "KU" Anakin.

He's not done yet, nothing has been modified. I got a bunch of new parts this week so I did a test fit of all the parts I intend to use.

There's parts from up to ten different figures being used so far LOL!

Sorry if this is too off topic. Making a new thread for this project just feels narcissistic to me, and I think you guys would appreciate it the most anyway. [emoji4]

Pretty cool looking............gotta get an anakin head!!!

Oh he has an Anakin Head as far as I'm concerned. [emoji1]

I really like Joseph Gordon Levitt as well so that helps.

To me the old fashioned, clean cut hair style makes much more sense than the wild long hair.

All the actors in the original trilogy had contemporary hairstyles from the real world. This was even replicated in Rogue 1.

So 20 years before ANH was released it was 1957, and all the men would've had these conservative hairstyles. I loved the way Obiwan looked in RotS. I could easily see my version of Anakin standing right next to the RotS Obiwan.

So after several attempts to make a better belt buckle with varying degrees of success, (but ultimately failure) I decided to go to the amazing Jon de Guzman.

He's willing to make more if any of you guys are interested in one.

Here's the WIP photos.

I can understand, it's definitely not for everyone.

I had to. There's just too much wrong with the stock belt buckle that comes with both HT Vader figures (actually all 1/6 Vaders). The solution for the flaws was too difficult to fix with my meager resources.

I'm obsessed with getting my Vader as close to accurate as I can, and Jon is the best.

Working on a kaiyodo mask with the rogue one Vader as a base and SS deluxe/ ANH parts. Dome is from the hasbro titanium helmet. First pic is before tusks were added.
