Those all look fantastic! If you don't mind, from the first pic (other than R2 of course--and I recognize SHF Luke), which are all the rest? Assuming Vader is 40th?

C-3PO, R2 and the Stormtrooper are all model kits. Vader is the 40th Black Series and Boba is the Mafex ESB version.

I saw the 40th Black Series Vader with the Early Bird dio in TRU today. Wasn't terribly impressed, it just looked really cheap compared to a Figuarts or Mafex. I just couldn't justify spending £45 just to get him and a diorama I'm never going to use. I'll stick with what I've got, unless Mafex or SHF deliver later on.

After having told myself I'd never order the Mafex or Figuarts lines, as they are more $$$, I've ordered the Figuarts ANH luke, Han and the chewie (preordered), and have both Mafex ESB and ROTJ fetts coming. Amiami has some decent rates. Ironically I blame the new Hasbro ANH vader - he looks amazing for the price....

There definitely seem to be knock-off Figuarts Darth Mauls. Sellers from China are selling them for $50 out of package, when legit in package ones go for at least $100+. The Chinese ones have to be fake.

You should check it out of the box. Is really a good figure and for sure the best Vader, but yes, I agree that £45 is too much if you don't care about the display diorama. Even that, It is a must buy in my opinion, just like the retooled BS Leia. I can't talk good about most of the BS figures, but since some months ago, they are releasing authentic jewels. Oh, and latest ones are in proportion with SHF, unlike MAFEX.

Figuarts Darth Maul originally sold for about $50. AmiAmi sold him for 5334 Yen which converts to $48.

They've reissued Vader a gazillion times without the diorama base.

A Maul with speeder bike may come some time down the line but nothing is confirmed. We have only seen it at a show or two.

Somebody bought one of them, they have the digital printing and all and are identical to the real deal so are unlikely to be bootlegs, I think they were theorised to be factory overruns

Looking at it in the box was enough, it just looked cheap and nasty to me. Cheap materials on the cloaks, cheap looking plastic, gappy, cheap looking joints. It looked like a kids toy more than a quality figure like an SHF or Mafex. If I do get another Vader it will be by one of them.

That were also my impressions when I saw it in package and I tell exactly the same to the guy of the store. Then he wanted to show me the figure out of the package and he let me play with it. Actually, It was not feeling like a usual Black Series toy, believe me. Just try to get a sample to check it and you will understand what I mean.
That said, I agree that SHF and MAFEX are superior, this is is a closed debate in this board, but when Black Series knocks the door and the visit is so good, is fair to tell it.

Don't want to convince anybody, but considering the current lack of a good enough Dath Vader action figure, this one deserves the attention.

Sadly there's really no comparison. I used to be amazing by the black series, but after figuarts they just feel like cheap plastic toys, as opposed to collectibles. The black series mail doesn't have a snarling head tho, so if you want that figuarts is your best bet. I have my shf Darth maul displayed with the normal head though, it's a perfect likeness for Ray park as the character imo
