I have still yet to see a custom hold up to the repainted/haired version of the threezero sculpt shared on FB way back when this thing first came out.

And here's another threezero repainted and haired sculpt that I just came across. I don't know who did it though.

Apparently the sculpt isn't as bad as it seems once it's been reworked. Too bad the Sculptor sculpt didn't come out as good. I own one but every paint up I've seen of it does not hold up to what it appeared it would when first seen in his thread.

Just depends on what you're looking for, man. You going for eye-popping, stilted reality Jon Snow; dark, toned down Jon Snow; super naturalistic wax-museum Jon Snow; dirty, battle-worn Jon Snow?... etc. Personally, I don't think the ThreeZero sculpt holds up to Harrington's likeness, but it's definitely an amazing paint and hair job. The ones you keep posting looks like Owen's work.

Wow.....amazing work. If threezero looked close to that I'd own the figure

That is Owen's work. Looks every bit like a $400 custom should.

I went with the Vimkerk sculpt with paint up & hairing by Hydeous.

Some might argue not as good as the Owen sculpt but head and shoulders better than the original. Looks like Jon Snow to me.

Have a question for all the people who have the "season 6" head on the threezero Jon body.....I finally got around to messing with it...but for some odd reason, when I took off the original head, the head joint came off. How can I put on the new head if the head joint is in the other head?

If you mean the neck part in the rubber came out then pop it off the head and plug it back in. Simple.

Are you talking about the neck peg or the socket in the head?
The neck peg

The neck peg stayed in the original Threezero head. What is the easiest way to get it out?

$400? Closer to $8-900 I'd guess.

On a side note, does Owen even do commissions? I hit him like a year ago and he said straight up that he didn't, but maybe he goes back and forth according to time and resources. Either way, that dude's work is ******ing MASTERFUL. If you're not spending a grand on that, then I guarantee you he's not selling.

Pretty sure $400 was the head sculpt work and the hairing. If I remember correctly, he modified the 3Z sculpt.

The rest of the mods...well that's another story.

As far as him doing commissions, I wanna say he does because there was one on sale in the forum here.

Yeah, I've seen his work on sale, too, by a couple different members. But I'm wondering if those weren't older pieces. I'm thinking he did commissions at one time but figured they're not really worth it to him. His work really is museum quality, so that sort of talent and skill demands commensurate pricing. For example, his rooted hair is the best there is (period), and I promise you it takes him FOREVER. So at some point, an artist's time falls WAY short of what they're getting paid.

Is there a good hs out there to buy, in order to replace the original?
Maybe even not having to sell a kidney, in order to acquire it? :)
