Yeah, they are getting bolder. Like that WD Carl figure. There was even a time that they would make the sculpt a little off while keeping the accessories/outfit accurate and giving is a generic name. Not today. lol They'll go for a spot on likeness and accessories and flat out call it what it's supposed to be. That's some balls right there. They may as well title it 'Unlicensed Carl Grimes figure from the Walking Dead. And what, *****!'

And the fact that the sixth scale world is now so popular, with so many companies and so many customers, makes it all the more bold.

It's no longer a niche hobby catering for a few guys playing with their dolls out of their nostalgia for Action Man/GI Joe. We are now legion! :lol

I'm hoping on a VTS toys judge DEADD. I stupidly sold my art figures one a while back.

If VTS are as bold as Xensation, then he might not even say DEADD on the box...

You'd think VTS would make a Karl Urban, but they seem to be so far behind with production. Still awaiting further development on this Stallone version. :impatient:

Let's hope it worth the wait. It probably is going on there recent releases.

Re: 1/6 VTS TOYS 1/6 JUSTICE JUDGE Action Figure

Glad I skipped the shoddy recast.

It wasn't a recast as it came from the original moulds, and not too shoddy for only $119.99 delivered in today's market.

However, the VTS looks to be a very clear winner over both the $120 Xensation or $750 Scaletta.

Going to get two of these, which is a trend I seem to have with VTS releases. Extra head sculpts and armour will improve the Xensation and make three decent Judges.

Re: 1/6 VTS TOYS 1/6 JUSTICE JUDGE Action Figure

I absolutely can't abide what they did with that film (some decent production design aside, which was wasted on that show) - but that does look good :)

Re: 1/6 VTS TOYS 1/6 JUSTICE JUDGE Action Figure

i'm glad no one's complaining about the accuracy of the sculpt.

Re: 1/6 VTS TOYS 1/6 JUSTICE JUDGE Action Figure

Not a big fan of the film, but its design and lead casting were its strongest points, in my opinion. As a huge 2000AD fan, though, and a Stallone fan, I'm very tempted by this, depending on price. It's certainly miles better than the previous versions, to my eye at least.

Re: 1/6 VTS TOYS 1/6 JUSTICE JUDGE Action Figure

Oh for god sake after all the work I put into the Xensation one. :slap

Will get this though and have a helmeted Dredd and a Stallone Dredd. At last a 90's sculpt of Sly.

Re: 1/6 VTS TOYS 1/6 JUSTICE JUDGE Action Figure

The helmeted sculpt looks good.
The visor sits low just like in the movies.
Not on the bridge of the nose.
