I'm seriously considering a 1/6 TMP bridge set as it's my favourite ship but I worked out it would be about 2 metres in diameter eek. Even if you stop at the helm station, it's massive, so a transporter room is the most doable. There are too many characters to fit on a transporter but I suppose you could stick Scotty behind the console.

^ great ideas and pics everyone. :)

Deering productions on Facebook has a bunch of pictures of his bridge (multiple versions over the years), transporter room and a shuttlecraft. If you're on Facebook and a 1/6th Trek fan, I highly recommend taking a look. Dan does some amazing work!

Also Johnny E4 has done some nice work on a bridge and shuttlecraft.

They do take up a lot of room, but are fun to dream about.

It might be a cool idea if someone produced a set of Base stands that fit together to form a transporter pad. You could have all the stands facing forwards.

First of all, I love my QMX Kirk, Spock and McCoy. I had pieced together versions of each before QMX produced their figures. Now, I was thinking that I'd like to take my old Trek figures and put them in costumes from classic episodes. For example, there is a plethora of German WWII uniforms available to do a "Patterns of Force" group. Or the gangster suits from "A Piece of the Action". Any other ideas for somewhat manageable 1/6th scale costumes from TOS episodes?

Here's my old versions of Kirk, Spock and McCoy.

The period pieces like a piece of the Action or city on the edge of forever or patterns of force? Maybe that Caroline munro figure could make a passable Edith keeler?

Hmm, on the transporter stand issue, maybe one way to try and boost sales for the supporting cast could be to put a piece of transporter stand in their box alongside a normal stand? My hot toys wolverine had two stands.

That Kirk actually looks pretty good, and I like how the sleeves on their shirts are a bit longer to cover up the wrist joints. However, the length of their sleeves actually was about the length of what the QMx figures are. Unfortunately, it results in the wrist joints being overly exposed.
