Yea it's strange that they didn't reused the clan leader head sculpt, that looked more like the elder imo. The bright red cape and the face kinda throws it off for me, I bet it would look pretty great if someone did a custom paint job with a head swap from the clan leader.

It's the exact same head painted a different color scheme. The Elder and Clan leader heads are exactly the same it just needs a better paint app.

Ah I see now, but it seems like something is different about the lower mandibles on The Elder, it's like they're closer together.

So, a spate of eBay auctions have popped up for the new Jungle Demon 7" - labeled "NECA Loot Crate DX Exclusive"

Not sure what that's about but if this is a production figure it looks even better than originally pictured (yellow eye paint is more subtle/blended).

My Serpent Hunter arrived today. Wasn't really on my radar before but now that I have him, this dude is completely ****ing badass. He's meant to be one of the strongest Preds, right?

No stiff or loose joints or flimsy wrist gauntlet - and unlike my City Hunter he has the red text/numbers actually painted on. Overall just super impressed. Let's hope JH tops it.

I don't tend to get many Preds compared to the Aliens line, but the QC of the joints on the Xenos has been pretty bad lately (Kenner wave in particular). Interested in what they'll do with Covenant but outside of that, my passion for that line may have seen better days.

So, accidentally bought a bootleg Elder, as they are all mostly sold out in Hong Kong so I went to am infamous store to look for the Elder...surprisingly good quality to be honest, exact same paint with the legit one, it's just a bit sloppy on the ball joint but it's not a big deal. I am happy with this one

Isn't Lootcrate going under? How in the world did they secure a figure NECA has shared for months now, one that would sell very well (reminiscent of the water emergence one), as a pure exclusive item? I'm really surprised on that.

I'm sure the "Loot Crate Exclusive"ness only extends to the fact that you can get it there exclusively at the moment, until it's released to the mass market.

Funny how an official NECA figure is on par with a bootleg in terms of quality these days.

I wish I would have gotten the Loot Crate DX box. I just got the plain version. The only thing Predator in it was a ****ing bottle opener.

It didn't even come in a nice box. They put it in a dime bag. I feel like I just got this from some raggedy dude in the hood that was like "Pssst... my man. Wanna buy a bottle opener?"

Saw this image in my head and lol'd. This lootcrate thing seems like a pig-in-the-sack kind of thing.

This looks pretty bad-arse. Wonder if they'll ever make it in 1/4 scale. Being semi-transparent, the added articulation wouldn't be as big an issue at that size.
