Hi folks. Can anyone help me?
The lights on my delorean aren't working. The car is in a glass case and I have fitted new batteries but nothing. Any ideas?

Judging by the wiring/circuit design of the car, it could be that a wire has come adrift. They are very thin and fragile. The only way to know would be to take the car apart and that's not an easy task.

A time-circuits update - I finally managed to visit my friends last week and they will make the parts I need once I have drawn them up. Should be in the next couple of weeks and I'll post pictures once I have something to share. Work has been taking up all my time recently. My car is still in parts on the workbench.

So if one wire is loose the whole lot fail?

I wouldnt be surprised if one of the cables from the batteries to the little circuit board underneath or the two cables from the button to the little board in the front come loose. Cheaply made!

Test it with a power supply adapter!

If both batteries and PSU don't work, I think like BPBN says - could be the cables to the switch.

Thing is wires shouldn't come lose with the electronics especially when you pay as much for it as the hot toys Delorean costs. I solder leds and circuit boards in model cars all the time and never had a lose connection. Bad workmanship imo.

True, but doesn't make it any less so.

Hi. Ref my lights. I tried it and they come on dim and then I as I **** the lid restored to full power so I'm guessing there's s wobbly joint at the front. Poor for such an item

Backwall is painted and weathered.

New flux capacitor board because i dont like the blinking hot toys one!

I was ripping apart a building today and found this hunk of cable. Thought it would be good to split apart to replace the wiring on the side and in the car that is missing. It's the correct size. Just need to figure out a way to make 1/6 scale zip ties.
