Hot toys Star Wars ROTJ Luke Skywalker (speculation thread)

I can. He is indeed the holy grail. But I say, get whatever figures you want. Life is short. I too tried to play the "I'll only get one Luke, the rotj one" for a long time but I wouldn't sell my New Hope Luke that I eventually caved and got for anything(save an life defining emergency or something of course) because...it's Luke Skywalker! I love the character so much, I know it won't bother me to have two of him especially with a different outfit and different saber. I feel the same to an point about Vader, but really all the Vaders are the same with some slightly different shapes, gloves, etc. I'm waiting on Vader with an removable helmet(and an non "evil" expression. That sideshow rotj Vader has an really mean Anakin sculpt and I want one that conveys the softened visage of redeemed Anakin/Vader post killing the Emperor).

No idea mate. But let's hope we get our Jedi Luke this time round! It's a 40th anniversary let's hope hot Toys jumps on the hype of it and announces Luke

They've barely even started releasing ESB figures (assuming you count Yoda as part of that wave), so I'd be surprised if Jedi Luke gets released anytime soon.

They did reveal the Spacetrooper a couple years back at Celebration, that's when SS revealed the Jawas and R5 I believe too.

I'm not saying they won't reveal anything at celebration, I'm just saying that post doesn't have anything to do with hot toys, so this excitement/speculation based on it seems pretty silly to me.

Maybe it's the first mention he's heard of celebration, in which case it would be a good leap in logic since they have revealed a figure there in the past.

My thought was that hot toys may possibly jump on the bandwagon for the 40th anniversary and make a reveal. It was just pure speculation is all [emoji16]I'm just very hopeful for a Jedi Luke haha

It would be cool for Hot Toys to release their version of RoTJ Luke. I read somewhere that J.C. Hong's favorite Star Wars movie was ESB and that's why they released the DX07 as their first hot toys Star Wars figure.
