Goes to show you how people tend to focus more on bad things rather than good things. This thread is about both Han and Chewie, yet the focus is on talking about how bad Chewie is rather than how good Han is.

Probably why a lot of TV news stations report a lot of stories that would otherwise be considered bad news. People are enthralled by it.

Untrue. People just already knew han would turn out great. The outrage with chewie is caused by the fact he looks nothing like the proto. If Han and chewie both looked like their protos han would steal this show.

On a side note: I contacted my seller, he told me his is second or third batch and these issues will probably be resolved. But damn this shouldn't really be allowed to happen with these prices.

What issues are you referring to that will be resolved? Is the head sculpt going to be re-done, so that the muzzle isn't so big? Cause I just don't see them coming out with a newly tweeted sculpt soon.

Well obviously something went wrong somewhere. This can hardly be the product they want to sell.

Many of the same things were said about the ANH version (on a much lower level) and look what HT did - produced this figure.

Don't kid yourself based on a seller who wants to sell - there may be variations batch to batch and figure to figure, but this won't be fixed.

The days when HT used to step in to fix a production piece/head were before the Star Wars license and the huge uptick in volume they handle now.

I could actually cry right now seeing all these chewie photos! He's soooooooo bad!!!

I cannot believe I ordered the twin pack, majorly regretting it now!

Yep there were a few of the usual bad first distant photos from Toy Fairs that caused panic with the ANH Chewbacca and once in hand pictures emerged everything settled down...these are the in hand pictures and the figure is a train wreck! What a shame.

Well after this dumpster fire of a Chewie I can't see Hot Toys going another round for ESB.

Third time's a charm though I guess.

I'm happy with my ANH version.

Unlike most here, it seems, I think what you have done is a major improvement!! Good work! That out of the box distance between nose and mouth is unbearable.
