It's a good movie. I likely would have rated it higher but I just wasn't as taken back by the "twist" as maybe some of the others here were. Can't really go into any details without spoilers.

The Founder - It felt like a glorified McDonald's ad at first, but by the end of it you end up never wanting to visit McDonald's again. :lol Michael Keaton is always good. 7.5/10

I watched a month or so ago, and yeah, he's absolutely despicable in it. Just vile. It's what Red Skull should be in an R-Rated WW2 Cap film. Agreed on the uniforms as well. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Say what you will about the Nazis (and there a whole lot of things to say), but they had top-notch fashion sense. It's just shame such a style will never come back, because, well, Nazis.

PS: On this topic, I started reading Gillen's comic Uber, and it's a neat "AU"-esque story.

You never know, it could come back. After all, Hugo Boss was the designer of all those outfits, and they're still in business :lol

I'll look for it. :)

Yeah, but... wouldn't you feel weird, to say the least, wearing something like that? You'd look hella fly, but... Maybe they could rework the coats a bit, and bring back something with the same class, but different enough.

It ain't anything that special so far (Gillen excels in more "fantasy"-like stories, so it mostly comes across as an Ennis immitation), but it's a nice spin on most WW2 stories.

Still too Nazi?
