While an amazing look, IMO the Winter Soldier has to have some kind of growth/story arc in these films - e.g. just don't think someone laying low and buying fruit would opt to dress like an assassin
. Maybe I shouldn't use the term "generic" as that kind of has negative connotations in the U.S. anyway (tho I buy generic stuff all the time). Personally except for fussing over the HT face I'm pretty happy w. the movie character and the HT version staying true to that character arc. I just know I'm gonna be extra careful w. that beautiful chrome arm - when a lot of us finally get a ship notice.

)A lot of the early concept art for CW has Buck in his TWS outfit, same as Wanda, who's often still wearing her civvie clothes from AoU. In the Bucharest scenes from the artbook, Steve is also wearing his civvie outfit from TWS.

Not that I wouldn't like them. But making choices - I've got other movie art books and I'd drool over them for a while, glad to have them, but just don't look at them enough over the long term to justify vs. getting a fig. Maybe one day when/if they show up used or on E-bay or a used bookstore. (Of course, if I HAD gotten WS when he was released, instead of paying market prices, I could have had WS AND the WS book...)

If you go through a lot of the art books, you'll see recycled outfits and poses from previous movies.
They're just placeholders.

Ugh ... please don't mention that TWS artbook ever again ... I have it on preorder with Amazon since JUNE last year for retail price btw. First they tell me they'll have it in-stock by December 9th, then that didn't happen and now it's 15 Feb - 2 May (why Amazon, why do you still have it up for order when you can't get one single copy in?!!!) ..... I'll not give up .. I'll not loose hope.

1) Re rewatching CW, one of the more sad and chilling things is Bucky going back into that Siberian holding area and his storage tank is still there with the other five, sitting dark and open...
2) And as a new-ish collector, is this to be my fate???
