They've never sold anything through Sideshow to my knowledge and still may never.

There are currently 5 Iron Studios statues for sale at SS, not including the sold out Spider-Man. I see no reason why SS will not sell the Iron Studios Vader.

So to answer his actual question, was sideshow or IS able to do refunds?

They offered refunds, but also essentially to reproduce the statues and halted shipment on existing orders that didn't ship to get good ones out to people which may just be starting to be shipping out now. They've never sold any SW through SS.

If I'm not mistaken, ATM, the only IS items sold by SSC are Marvel Licence.

So, Star Wars are still not a done deal.

True I was just referencing the fact that SS sells IS products, so there is a history there.

ok.. so waiting for SSC or not? IR said they waiting license approval... but why can than SC put that up?

I really want this piece and I do not want to miss out .. but I prever getting it from SSC ..

I think IS is still waiting on licensor approval to see if the statue is greenlit at all, let alone sold through sideshow. Is there any where even outside the US that has this up for preorder legitimately? Meaning not just an agreement between a vendor and customer...but and actual way to preorder it?

I have zero knowledge or interest in any property outside of Star Wars. I was referring specifically to Star Wars.

Ay Caramba! Gonna see if SS has this up tomorrow - otherwise i may have to pull the trigger on SC.

I hope we get a surprise po tomorrow by Sideshow but I doubt it due IS told me only today that they have to wait for some license agreements stuff.

Imho SC customer service is better then sideshows so I don't see why anyone would benefit from ordering through SSC.

Well the theory is that is Sideshow distributes in the US they don't need to charge a massively inflated price like SC.

I don't know the pieces I bought from SC were actually the same price or a little less then what SSC was charging.

They're normal statue prices are actually a slight bit cheaper then SS, however do to the extra effort in acquiring unlicensed in this region statues and selling them they mark it up to cover the time and costs for them. Same with XM, you can for Darkness they are the cheapest US distributor, however for the marvel XM stuff it's well above retail. If this got licensed in NA and SS carried it I imagine it'd be similar to Iron Man at around $750.

using reward points to ease the pain of the price tag..

SC already confirmed if SSC carries Vader as well, the shipping costs will be around $40-$50 to FL..if not, you get hit hard from direct shipping from brazil ..$150-$250

I have never bought from SC. So they add the shipping on from Brazil to their price on the site? If so, yes it would be cheaper to wait for Sideshow. My fingers are crossed Sideshow carries if so.

I'm saying this piece, & the HT 1/4 scale Vader & Stormtrooper... & I'm done. & it just might be this piece & the HT 1/4 scale Stormtrooper & im done. I just have NO more room for stuff, without moving to a bigger house. & if I move to a bigger house, I doubt I'd be able to afford to collect any more anyway.

After thinking about it, if SS was going to carry this they would have announced it by now. I'm guessing that since they already have a 1:4 Darth Vader statue with a ES of 7000, they wouldn't want competition for it by carrying Iron Studios version.
