I'm not sure why they changed their look for the second film (as seen above with the recycle sign). My fave Henson turtles were the ones in the first film, so I'm glad that's what this line is recreating but at least the second film look as better than third (which wasn't even Henson for whatever reason).
If I re call Henson died shortly after the first Film.

Somthing about them looking to scary. Idk. The turtles look there best in 1990. The other 2 movies they look passable to down right awful. 1990 turtles just look way to real and detailed.

Thanks guys. The variations in paint are truly driving me nuts. I was all set to go with 'B' until I noticed that one has a ton of dark spots on the top of his head, which the version(s) in the prototype photos don't have. They don't necessarily look bad, it's just... :gah: I might just drive myself crazy. For fun though, here are some reference photos. Things do vary quite a bit.

Yikes Raph looks like he has a pimple on the second shot :thud:

Leo looks like he is the flawless turtle to own

Um...the last pic is from Turtles II. I always thought they designed Donnie the worst in Turtles II and it shows :pfft:

i wonder if the base color of plastic is green, and skin is not painted.
in this case people who don't like the black spots can use some... paint-deleting liquid (i don't know the word) to soften black dots, like orange "blood" was deleted from HT T2 skeleton parts.

Exactly the green is not a green a person can cover up with green paint..could be a mixture of colors besides green.

In short I don't see it as an easy fix or cover up of the chin spots like everyone thinks :slap

Thanks. I guess I'll have to look for a fair price on Ebay later, even if at the moment, this doesn't look like an option to me

He's still available for pre order at Popcultcha.com.au It is not listed under Neca, but 1/4 Donatello. This should still be cheaper than an EBay reseller.

Just checked it out myself. 200.00 AU for this guy seems about right given his size and how bad the AU dollar is at the moment. Not too bad actually.

You think so? If Neca produces the same #s for all turtles equally, then I suspect Raphael will be more HTF with Leo right behind.

However, that'd be cool for Donnie to be the most HTF.

Can't stop looking at this figure, can not wait to get Raph next

I used $50 pennies and a $10 discount code to get him for $140. Plus that also earns 280 pennies. So I'm happy with that. I buy a lot from PC when they have 20% off sales, so pennies add up quickly.

I will have to remember that then. Loyalty programs do work well when you know when and how to use them. I may just wait for him to turn up locally here at Minotaur or Comics R Us so I can check it over before laying down the money.
