You nailed it. F Sideshows price on this. I expected him to be massive compared to bats. Exclusive headsculpt not feeling either, not with that price tag. Bats is $399 and Bane in at $699! Screw that. Modern age bats was $425 and look what we received.

Yeah, I'm just not falling for it. Their excuse for Deadpool was his complexity. Now here we are under two months later getting a MUCH simpler piece with very little complexity, and he's $700 again. It's going to be a different excuse each time they drastically overcharge for a piece based on said piece's popularity.

i never thought that peoples political agendas would creep into a thread about toys. is nothing sacred anymore?

this price is because SS is watching HT sell at higher prices so they matched. now people are buying Prime 1 statues for $1G, so they figure they can match that price scale too.

this is gone on to the point where people aren't buying as much. i know I'm priced out. i can only get very important things now. sucks. but it is all our collective faults.

I'll probably wait this one out. The sculpting, musculature, mixed media and details look great, but as per usual SS's photos do not give a good idea of scale vs. Batman. And it's overpriced. I'm not sure if the Batman PF is too big, but Bane is supposed to be close to 7' tall. If they show more pics I may change my mind, but it will probably be on display at CC. Hopefully they won't sell out of the EX before then. While the modern head is not essential, I prefer to get the exclusives.
