Congratulations Craig! I love that celebratory gif!

Transmission from the Bat Cave

It's very unexpected. He wasn't suppose to be here till tomorrow. Out of the box I can see why people might want to overlook any issues he had. I'll snap a few poses and inspect the wrists then.

ordered via popcult awhile ago, wondering when it will ship so sent them email to ask and got a automated response sayin a reply will take up to "3 days".. :rotfl

DP just got dropped off. Did a quick look over the wrists (perfect). Then boxed him back up. He's a xmas present for my son. He thinks his dad missed the preorder bus.

I forgot who asked me to take a shot of him with the SS base but here you go . . .

The material on this is so delicate it's nerve racking to pose him. It's stretchy but paper thin. Changing the wrist I may just pass out. lol So I don't see myself pushing the poses too far with this guy. Definitely an eye catching figure though.

:panic: :panic:

Amazing shots Craig :clap :clap :woo

Thanks :duff

Positive thoughts:

1) Looks stunning overall. Will definitely stand out in a group of figures. Very well done as a whole. It's movie Deadpool !! :)

2) Suit is amazing to look at. Detail is fantastic

3) Weapons/accessories are A+ Metal katanas, the Deagles (look great in person) all well done.

Where they missed:

1) The neck. Ugh. WAY too long. I will be cutting it down like the tutorial someone posted here. Just a bad decision by HT. Pics above have the neck peg removed, just the collar holding head in.

2) The suit material. As stated, you don't feel as if you can push the limits with extreme poses, and that is exactly what DP begs for. Very disappointed here. No ninja style poses to be found. Not as inarticulate as AntMan, but practically about the same. You just don't want to push it. I *think* I would have preferred sacrificing the look of the pleather, to gain articulation. I'm not sure I can pull off the diorama I wanted now...

3) The eyes. Very cool you can change them, but overall it falls short. Most combos of different eyes just don't work. This could have been done much better. There should have been a 'shocked/eyes wide open' one for sure.

I've *really* been looking forward to this guy, and it falls just a tiny bit flat for me. Still an A+ figure, but it's flawed.

I was waiting to see this vs War Machine DC for my FOTY......and I have to give the nod to WM. While not nearly as loved of a character, it was executed flawlessly.

9 out of 10.

Fixing the neck is really easy. Pop the neck insert out, then there's a red rubber ring on the inside of the head. Pry that out:

Mine tore up, but you don't need it. There is a recess now where that ring sat. Cut the neck to that recess. Which is like 1/8".

Now the neck adapter pops right back in. Still snug. I can lift him by the head no problem....

Looks much better. :)

No more giraffe neck :p

Hmm, maybe an issue that varies figure to figure. Isn't really noticeable to me in person.
