That kaio ken goku might just be for the event, as it has the old body and not the 2.0. Gone are the days of pointed shoulders!!! Super hyped for that SS3 goku!!!

That SS3 Goku looks excellent! Love the idea of a Kaioken Goku since IMO Kaioken > All SSJ forms. Gotenks' face needs serious work.

Good to see Nappa lovers getting their wish. I'm glad they went with the armored look.

Must say I'm disappointed with the scouter vegeta 2.0.
He looks exactly the same but with the new thigh articulation

I honestly think it's the same exact figure.

The Vegeta is most definitely a 2.0. The legs are the same as the SSJ Vegeta, the head is the SSJ one repainted black, and the shoulders and arms are re-used from the SSJ as well. The armor is completely new since it has the torso articulation. The tail is even new since it looks more lighter brown. Sure a PC would've been just fine and the OG is perfect as is, but this one is definitely a welcome 2.0.

Seeing the knees in the closer shot, that could very well be a 2.0 of Vegeta. Although I don't see chest articulation.

I think Nappa has the same problem than A16. He is too short next to Vegeta!

Old Nappa had better painting and shading. I'm not sure about the size.. but new one seems to be smaller.

You guys shoulda known they were gonna scale down Nappa. For him to be accurate it had to be almost Hulkbuster-size, and the price would be hella expensive. These things are already expensive as-is. If they sacrifice an inch or 2 to keep it reasonably affordable then so be it

Can't wait for Kamikaze Ghost Gotenks, they were hilarious in the manga and anime.

2.0 ssj3 goku : Not happy with the knees at all but everything else about him ROCKS THE DRAGON!

Nappa isn't gonna size up I think. Can't believe after all these years they made him though, lol. Also a kaioken goku, damn, kinda unexpected.

Man I crave a 2.0 piccolo now. We also know the 2.0 goku body mold now we can presume, that's cool.

This is all too much to take in. Remember though, TN last year had all those figures we havent seen since, so dont get you hopes up folks.

While I agree that hopes for instance releases shouldn't be, there was really no rhyme or reason to last year's reveals when looking back. The majority of them were Goku figures and there hasn't been a Goku release since the month after last year's event. Super Warrior Awakening Goku was the only one to incorporate the updated quality and articulation. The Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta prototype could be seen as a place-in since Tamashii Nations already had Super (Saiyan) Vegeta in the works. (Although, oddly enough, a lot of people thought Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta was going to be the "Super Saiyan Vegeta" scheduled release.) The Dragon Ball Super Champa and Vados were thought to have been released but not until the Western Market is introduced to them.

This year seems to be quite different because it follows the current Tamashii Nation's theme with updated quality and dual releases. Nappa/Scouter Vegeta, Super Saiyan 3 Goku/Gotenks, and Yamcha/Tien.
