Now, get your camera out. Set the flash, and take a picture of your Hot Toy's in a lit room and with the flash on. Upload to your computer, and view your image.

Tell me it looks like what you have in hand.

Truth.

I would not go that far :)rotfl at the $24.95 comment), but the hair is a bit disappointing. Still looks way better than a Sideshow figure, but sub-Hot Toys. Sparkly gold highlights. . .not sure what's going on there :lol

Face paint is better than HT often is, though, from what I can tell so far. Still a no-brainer buy. A reasonable value for your money in the current 1/6 scale market.

Exactly. [emoji106]

Ok my first post guys. Hello! to me i have to ask myself. Does the sculpt look better than, marty, icabod crane, any tony stark, any black widow, keaton batman to name a few. the answer is YES. and to me the proto made him look 40 with a bad tan. To me the main issue is the body. the clothes dont seem to be sitting natural.

I'm pretty happy with this. Sure its not as good as the proto, but the proto was also taken with the best photography and best paintjob.
The likeness is pretty good, the tailoring of the outfit is excellent! That jacket alone is Kato tailoring good.
I think the only downside to this is that the proto showed a Hot Toys killer figure, but instead, we got a Hot Toys caliber figure.
Still a win in my opinion.

Well said- in the ballpark with HT but HT already has rounded the bases.
I think Blitzway can match HT if they really went all out- maybe their paint ap process needs fine tuning or something...
I panicked over the first pics but glad these newer pics came out, I canceled with BBTS but today reordered again. So I will wait and see more pics as the thing is released

Hi guys! This is the thread that has finally given me the urge to start posting on here a bit. It's just been way, way too entertaining the past day or so.

As just a moderate fan of the film, I am still super excited for the red jacket version I have on order. In fact, I was rewatching it the other day for the first time in years and thinking that as incredible as the prototype is, hopefully the sculpt gets softened out a bit in production to better match just how young he looked in the film back then. I was pretty surprised how different he looked than I remembered, actually. Prototype detail was insane, but definitely a bit wrinkly/ragged compared to 1999 Brad Pitt. So I actually think it turned out great overall. I also just grabbed a new Aldo Raine figure the other day for cheap so it'll be awesome having those two on a shelf together.

Also, random shout out to cmiller99 for the awesome avatar picture. *thumbs up*

Awesome! Grats Spangles. Looking forward to see the pics.
Wow, I wonder if we're all getting ours today or sometime this week.

If you ordered directly from Blitzway, you'll be getting it soon. I pre-ordered from TimeWalker here in the U.S. and at a discount. They told me I won't be receiving it until probably the end of the month unfortunately. Boo.

One thing I noticed that I hadn't before, is that the robe looks dirty. It's a nice effect.

Can you (or someone, be the first!) PLEASE post a short video review?

I'm sorry, I don't do videos.

Can you shine some halogen bulbs on the bad boy, set flash to maximum warp and throw a flash bang in the room, run in and take some photo's. Cheers.

That's my plan. ;) :lol

Thank you! My post office called me to pick it up a day before it was due to be delivered. I guess they didn't want to deliver the huge box. :lol

Awesome spangles, looking forward to pics and your I hand impressions. I ordered from kg hobby so hopefully I'll have mine soon

Just did two quick ones (so far) to show the sculpts. The fur coat sculpt is superior to the other, imo. The eyes (I think) seem to be throwing the likeness off on the red coat one.
