Kotobukiya ARTFX+ ALIEN statues coming out!

Got the Warrior today. Got one with really good paint apps so really happy. Have to figure out how Im gonn display it.

Got one the other week, but haven't opened it pending display case solution. Mind posting some pics?

Hands down THE MOST SCREEN ACCURATE ALIEN produced to-date...it only one ups the very rare Sano alien in terms of accuracy, but the Sano/Roswell was based on the original Sculpt by Giger which doesn't have the elbow Spurs and the wrist ribs to hide the gloves...
The paint job is all there!
The color textures are beautifully rendered ...the shoulders, the thighs...the color is unbelievable!
Excellent job Kotobuikiya!
I wish it was bigger...but I can't complain!

I can tell you it's almost exactly the same scale as the neca figure as in almost exactly the same...you'd have to look really closely to see there is a slight discrepancy and I forgot which is actually larger...they may as well be Twins with minute genetic variances.

The artfx+ is in the middle shelf with the Neca figures:



Top left is the original 18" Kenner, middle top is the Sanosculpted Roswell statue of the Alien sculpted by Giger, the top right is the gentle giant 24" alien
Marmit 23" next to the Kaiyodo on the left side, on the right is the 24" glowie next to the new neca 22"

I no longer have the sideshow 1/4 nor the diorama statue nor the 1/6 hot toys (which was a fail in my opinion)
I do have other big chaps that I hadn't had a chance to display with this setup

The Medicom VCD and the Medicom sofubi are both awesome pieces...the middle one of course is the Roswell which represents the original sculpt and actually complements the medicom nicely...and looks a lot like the Medicom 12" but is actually 18" tall

Great display demorathis and thanks for the photos. I’m getting this to replace my Neca which has collapsed over time and was worried this would look a little small compared to their Ripley. Looks like it’ll work out!

What's really cool is additionally you get this modular display..?Six panels of screen accurate grilled plates that can combine via a variety of different connectors and it comes with a small cube emitting a randomly flashing light...awesome awesome. Highly recommended!!

The koto is slightly smaller...very slightly.
It is painted waaaaaay better. It's not a wash, or dry rushing, but an actual paint application that's probably printed on.

Sorry for the rotation...I tried to post other pics that I took it I've got the crappiest internet service on the planet right now.

The favorite alien renderings have now been topped by the artfx+. It is hands down the most accurate...the funny thing is there is a post that keeps the carapace on right at the apex of his skull, but you don't see it because it is obscured by fog in the dome...absolutely well designed...though I wouldn't have minded a removable carapace since historically the toys are made that way....

Look how well angled the whole face is vs the squared off profile of the neca. It's weird, cuz tankman is a fantastic sculptor, but his idiosyncrasies show up in some of his work...which is what makes it his, but I wish he was able to nail it, so we wouldn't have to wait for an expensive import as the be all end all alien figure....cmon tankman, you can do it!!

Or kotobukiya, Enbiggen this as they say!
