Misery - 7.5/10 I hate movies with torture. My wife hadn't seen this so I watched it again with her. As far as movies go it's very good, but hard for me to watch. Brutal and psychopathic. Excellent suspense.

1000 post !!!!!!!!!!

The Apparition (2012) : -50 / 10.

My gawd, what rubbish. It was on TV, & free.. so I watched it. Big ****n mistake.

Bucky's in it, & his girlfriend was gorgeous, but that's inconsequential. Stupid story, & an imbecilic movie.

Do not watch.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Azkaban.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

Part of an all day Harry Potter marathon.
It's both Harry and J.K. Rowling's birthday.

I saw them yesterday. It rained all day here, and all 3 movies
are perfect to sit back and watch on such a day.

Acting is great, script sounds like what people would actually say
under the circumstances, and the cast is perfect.

Congrats. Your next post will screw that perfect number up lol.

Falling Down - 4/10 Eeeh, it wasn't bad per say, but as society sucks critiques go, I've seen better. Didn't like the main character, liked the cop couple better, I found little of teachable or artistic value.

It was just a long ass garden variety cop drama TV show episode.

Is that the first time you'd seen it? It was really a film for a particular era, and made a lot more sense seeing it in the 90s.

Having said that, when I saw it I thought it was interesting, different... had some good moments - but I didn't feel it was the brilliant treatise many were saying it was.

Yeah it was, that's what I figured, it's boxed in this 90's trend of social critique, I think American Psycho or even Fight Club do a better job at it. I'm sure it was a lot fresher in the 90's.

I thought it was a movie about a good man screwed over by society on a righteous spree of self-rationalized justice, sort of a proto-Breaking Bad or something, but nope, it was just an autistic man-child throwing a big tantrum because **** happens to him, which looks like it's mostly his fault.

But it's not as bad as God Bless America.
