Leto is a fantastic actor and obviously put everything he has into this role. It is almost unthinkable at this point to imagine a movie Joker other than Ledger's as his portrayal is so beloved and admired, but it looks like they are recrafting the character a bit, which will make it easier to differentiate the two. This Joker should be quite different than the one in the Nolanverse, and so we don't have to have a Ledger vs Leto debate. It is possible that Leto nails it and we like this Mr. J as well, w/o having to take anything away from Ledger's Master of Chaos. I don't doubt Leto at all, my concern is the film itself as I haven't really liked the Man of Steel or Batman vs Superman, not nearly in the same category as Nolan's films. Hopefully SS can change that. Either way, Leto looks insanely awesome as the Joker and these Hot Toys figures more than do it Justice.
