Yeah but with a little love and care you can make a figure great. It's not like this will be thier only affleck Batman cause Justice league is gonna have two new Batman suits.

BVS Batman 1/4 Repaint by Twayne Review

Very nice repaint TWayne!

Thanks man! Yeah, along with the mod and darker grey I dirtied and frayed the cape, painted those annoying grey marks on the Bat-emblem a little more subtly, and dry-brushed some dirt and detail on the boots as well. Just a few things that probably aren't as noticeable in pictures.

Would love to give the Jakks head modification a go, I could just sculpt in the missing cowl detail myself. I still think it's a bit oversized though. If it was just sightly smaller it would be perfect.

Is actually really sad when people have to go out of their way to fix a figure the way you guys are doing. the sad thing is that NECA is usually not this bad with their sculpts, the original Neca head for batman looks ridiculous, he really looks like Alan Ruck

I have to say I was reading this entire thread and I have to say that Kroanx did the best job with the modifications. the Jakks head looks amazing much better than the neca head. I think Kroanx did the best. definitely the coolest mod.

i didnt even like the movie but i would buy that if it came the way kroanx made it.

i still cant believe neca did such an awful job wtf were they thinking

besides, the real cowl does NOT have that much detail, it is very smooth and doesnt have the detail the neca one added

i think even as texture goes the Jakks is closer to the real one


neca's rough leather look is actually not accurate at all

the real cowl is so smooth it even shines

neca's texture is completely off, batman's cowl NEVER looked that rough. not only did they gave him a ridiculous long face

but neca gave it the WRONG TEXTURE Is SUPPOSED TO BE smooth and soft and shiny.....wtf did neca do?

the lack of texture in Jakks head ACTUALLY is screen accurate!

Thank you crows. I think it really depends on how you look at the figure. Some people would be fine with the Neca as is or customize the head or totally replace it.

But I think we can all agree that neca have great 1/4 figures with not too great head sculpts.

Im pretty damn happy with mine.... To hey if they have the patiece and all the cutting into the jakks body more power to them.
