So you believe the spear should be just a tad shorter than Kal-El? That's sort of what I was thinking. Right now I have the staff scaled up to be almost 2 inches taller than it is, which should put it right around shoulder height, then add the height of the spear to reach about halfway up his head/neck.

That's the plan! Probably getting a new print ordered tonight or tomorrow. I'll have BvS Kal-El delivered next week, it seems, so I'll see how it compares to him, let alone MoS Kal-El.

The best reference would be the scene where he slams the spear into the ground, but I can't seem to find that
Here is the whole scene where he fights Supes with it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWH5rQ23T7c
Tough to gauge there but it's pretty fricken long, I feel like when he slammed the kryptonite into the ground, it was still almost as tall as him

It's not much at all, but the best comparison in that clip to me seems to be this:

Like I said, it still doesn't give one much to go off of, but by the looks of it, it looks like it would maybe come up to roughly his chin or nose?

Ya that's all could find as well. The pictures at the DC exhibit don't show the scale well. There is the scene with Lois throwing the spear and the spear doesn't look that much taller then her and she's 5'4.

Yeah I agree... a rough measurement of my screen shows Batman at 5cm tall and the spear at about 5cm in length, so it's essentially as tall as he is if not a little shorter.

I added an orange line in and rotated it without changing the size, it should be roughly from the base of the spear to the tip of the glowing spearhead, keep in mind that it is also being angled away from camera so it could be even longer than the orange line shows in the side by side

That's the photo I used as reference as well. As Gaunted, did I measured from bottom to top of staff (without the kryptonite) it seemed to be around shoulder height. And then using your own reference of the displayed prop - the kryptonite itself seemed to be a slight more than 16 to 20 inches. That would put the entire spear slightly taller than bats.

Awesome work, guys, thanks! Looks like we've got a good approximation of size, now!

Great job on measurement!

Keep in mind also, in that scene Bats's head is bowed forward a bit, looking down. Looks like it would be at about just above eye level with his head straight up, looking forward.

Yeah, the spearhead itself is pretty damn big, I did it again and separated those areas this time, but I think it should be a bit taller than what is in this picture since the angle makes the spear shorter in the shot

I'll be interested to see if this guy has been tweaked at all. Hopefully we'll see some improved face plates at SDCC, and maybe an added kryptonite spear accessory.

Yeah really disappointing that there is no spear. I guess HT didn't want to bother having to create a whole new accessory. Adding a lightsabre to Rey was easy because they just used the same one they did for Luke.

I'm just happy they improved the weathering on his armor. It has that nice, shiny finish it had in the movie.

It looks like the faceplate has changed. But then again... it's a blurry picture.
