That sounds illegal somehow, it's like the reversed version of selling an unlicensed piece; instead of selling movie characters without the license, their selling their own characters and claiming they're canon to a license they own to increase sales. Can they even do that??

It is a licensed piece. 'Fox' & 'Legacy' are on the promo picture.
But yeah, made up character to make money.

Funny thing is if they made it a Queen instead it would of been much more popular.

They really grind my gears every time they keep saying its canon. It's NOT freaking canon Sideshow so stop saying that!!! Could you imagine if they made up some stupid Jedi or a Sith and said it was canon!? People would riot!

That'd be my guess too.

They should have made an Empress instead, since it exists in the comics like the King but would also have a much more recognizable look as it looks like a larger, slightly different queen.

stunning statue, but it looks like something that would be more at home amongst some warhammer tyranids than on the shelf with the rest of my aliens. Very beautiful though and I'm interested to see what it looks like in hand.

Sideshow already made the Queen a few years ago, as a diorama together with the Power Loader.
